Obviously, Zoro is one of the best Haki users in The Last Saga a pieceBut he definitely has some other hockey power-ups to unlock. As the story continues, Zoro is sure to upgrade his Haki even more, and there are many power-ups and upgrades that Oda has lined up for him.

Internal destruction

Eiichiro Oda, the author of One Piece, said that Zoro's distinguishing feature when talking about Haki is the color of the weapon. As such, it goes without saying that Zoro will improve the most in this particular khaki color. As of now, Zoro can only use basic versions of the Color of Armament on his own. On occasions, Enma pulls out his improved Armament Haki, but his own control over this skill is still very basic. Zoro must learn to improve his Armament Haki in order to deal better damage to his enemies. If he manages to do so, he can harm them without even contacting them.

Swordsmanship makes them incredibly dangerous, cutting through the enemy from the inside without leaving a mark on the outside, and this is the path Zoro must tread in the Elbaf arc and arcs to come. This would further boost Zoro's overall fighting ability, making him a monster that could even rival Mihawk.

Future Vision Observation Haki

Future Vision Next Hockey Upgrades Roronoa Zoro One Piece

Zoro has access to all three types of Haki, but his control over all of them is insufficient. When Zoro returned after the timeskip, he already had access to armaments and observational Haki. When it comes to the latter, Zoro's Haki is refined enough to sense many of the dangers around him, but it goes without saying that he hasn't maximized this power.

Actually, among the crew, Zoro's observation Haki is very average, but if he needs to fight someone like Mihawk, then he should upgrade this power even more. By putting himself through tough battles, Zoro will learn the ability to push his observational hockey to the next level. He must also acquire the ability to see the future, because if he manages to do so, he will truly be ten steps ahead of his enemies. Against Mihawk, who can see everything with his eagle-eyes, Zoro definitely needs Haki's power of visual observation of the future, and in the final saga, it's an ability he must acquire at any cost.

Controlling Supreme King Haki

Winner Hockey Control Future Hockey Upgrade Zoro One Piece

Zoro first gained access to the power of Supreme King Haki in the Wano Country arc. This happened when Zoro spots Kaido on the ceiling, albeit unintentionally. Kaido quickly confirmed that Zoro had used the color of the Supreme King when he inspected the wound he had received. This was the first indication of the fact that he had the hockey power of a conqueror.

Later in the series, Enma fully brings out Zoro's latent conqueror Haki in the battle against the king. Zoro was able to defeat the King well in battle, and he did incredibly well against the likes of Lucy at Egghead. Unfortunately, despite all this, Zoro doesn't know how to control his conqueror's Haki. It's Enma who does the heavy lifting for him, unleashing his latent Haki without him realizing what's going on. As mentioned by Gaban, Zoro will only become truly powerful when he learns how to control his Haki. As such, a controlled winner's Haki is going to be an important power-up for him in the future of a piece.

The Zero Century was a mysterious time period, with some of the most powerful Devil Fruits.

Long range hockey

Long Range Hockey Future Hockey Upgrade Zoro One Piece

Hockey has many aspects and can be used in many ways. Shanks proved this in the Wano Country arc when he used the power of his victorious Haki from miles away to completely paralyze Admiral Aramaki, effectively forcing him to retreat from the land of the samurai. This use of long-range Haki was incredibly impressive and cemented Shanks as one of the strongest in the entire series.

Zoro would have to learn advanced applications of Conqueror's Haki in the future, especially if he was to reach the same level as Shanks and Mihawk. Right now, his use of Conqueror's Haki is very limited, and he relies heavily on Enma for its use. In the future, Zoro will go on to master this power to an entirely different level, and when he does, perhaps the power to use it remotely will come naturally to him as well.

shock hockey

A very one-sided fight

There are some swordsmen that exist in the world of One Piece that have unique abilities that differ from traditional swords. Among them are three special persons, namely, Rox D. J. Beck, Gol d. Roger, and Red-Haired Shanks. These people, despite being swordsmen, have the ability to use their blades to inflict shock. Their attacks not only cut, but crush the enemy and send them flying like a hammer blow. It is a unique form of unconventional swordsmanship that many argue does not fall under traditional swordsmanship. Regardless, it's incredibly powerful and Zoro would do well to learn it in the final saga.

This power appears to be linked to the use of Conqueror's Haki, as all three Roger, Rox, and Shanks focus a large amount of Conqueror's Haki on their blades before unleashing this powerful blow that crushes rather than dismembers the enemy. If Zoro were to learn this ability, he would automatically jump to Yonko's level.

Permanent sword blackness

Sword Black Future Haki Upgrade Zoro One Piece

The greatest Haki power Zoro can acquire in the final saga is turning his blade black. As explained in the one-piece Wano Country arc, all blades can be blackened. However, the exact process behind it is unknown till date. To permanently blacken a blade, one needs to make it immune to Haki, but there is of course more to it than that.

Dracul Mihawk was able to blacken his blade somehow, and before him, Ryuma, known as the Sword God in Wano, was also able to do so. Zoro also has to learn how to blacken his blades, and by the end of one episode, he of course takes his swordsmanship to a whole new level by upgrading and permanently blackening his blades.

One piece is available to read on Manga Plus.
