PlayStation Plus Customers should buckle up for Tuesday, December 2, which is one of the busiest days the service sees all year. The first Tuesday of every month is always exciting for PlayStation Plus members, as new free games are added to the Essentials tier. Monthly free PS Plus games are also available to those who sign up for the Extra and Premium tiers, and so this is a reason to celebrate for all PS Plus members.
Most of the time, free PS Plus games consist of three titles spanning PS4 and PS5. For example, there are free PS Plus games for November 2025 a stray, EA Sports WRC 24and Completely accurate war simulator. a stray is an award-winning puzzle/platformer where players take on the role of a cat living in a futuristic world, while EA Sports WRC 24 is a racing game Completely accurate war simulator As its name suggests, it's a war simulator, but with silly physics thrown in for good measure. PS Plus members who want to add these three games to their digital libraries have until Tuesday, December 2, to do so, at which point they will be replaced by the December 2025 free games.

Instead of just three games in December, PS Plus customers are treated to five free games. On December 2nd, PS Plus members can snag Killing Floor 3, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Neon white, Synduality: Echoes of Adaand Outlast tests. Neon white and Outlast tests Both native PS4 and PS5 versions are available, while the rest of the games are only available on PS5. This will likely be a disappointing revelation for fans who have yet to upgrade from PS4 to PS5, and unfortunately, the PS4 boycott is only going to increase in the new year.
Sony confirmed months ago that PS Plus will stop in January 2026 to focus on the PS4. There will still be PS4 games added to PS Plus in 2026, but not in the amount subscribers can use, and likely only when the game in question is released cross-gen. If a game is only on PS4, it's highly unlikely that it will be added to the PS Plus tiers come 2026.

Meanwhile, the monthly free games aren't the only titles subscribers should be looking out for on December 2. Those signed up for additional and premium tiers can also check.
