The Akatsuki is an elite force of rogue ninjas active in the vast majority of the world. Naruto Series, led by different people at different points in time. The Akatsuki was made up of several powerful S-rank ninjas, all of whom were strong enough to lead as Kage in their own right. Madara Uchiha
Although not the strongest villain in the story, Madara Uchiha Masashi is easily one of the most iconic figures portrayed by Kishimoto. Madara was born as the reincarnation of Indra Otsutsuki, who gave him powerful chakra. He trained to take his abilities to the next level and eventually became the strongest Uchiha of his generation. Madara awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan and later immortalized his eyes as well. He also awakened the Rinnegan by stealing Hashirama's flesh and mixing it with his own body.
Back in the Fourth Great Ninja War, Madara became the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and also absorbed the God Tree to awaken the Rinnegan. With all these powers, Madara was truly unbeatable to most characters. Not even the entire Akatsuki combined would be able to stop him, and that's how powerful he really was.
Toneri Otsutsuki
Toneri Otsutsuki First introduced in The Last: Naruto the Movie. It was revealed that he was a descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki and, like his ancestor, he went on to awaken the power of Tensigan. Toneri wanted to destroy the world that Hagoromo had created. After awakening Tensigan, his overall power increased dramatically. He could use the power of Tensigan Chakra Mode, which put him on the same level as Naruto Uzumaki.
There is no doubting the fact that Toneri was an absolute monster. His powerful ability can tear an entire moon in half, and that puts him at a very high level. The Akatsuki, by comparison, were weak, and even if their efforts were combined, they would fail to take down someone as strong as Toneri with the Tensigan's power. Only someone as strong as Naruto Uzumaki and others with the power of the Six Paths could stand up to him. It's unfortunate that Toneri never got to play a significant role in the Boruto series, as he's a fascinating character with great powers up his sleeve.

Kinshiki Otsutsuki
Kinshiki Otsutsuki Momoshiki shared, and was his guardian. Like other Otsutsuki, he also had his own special ability. Kinshiki possessed a special Byakugan with which he could use space-time ninjutsu, which no other Byakugan has shown the ability to use so far in the story. More than that, he had the ability to make weapons from red chakra using a special technique. These weapons were incredibly powerful, far more powerful than any other ninja equipment seen in the story.
Kinshiki was so strong that he was able to go head-to-head against Sasuke Uchiha in a fight and hold his own well. His overall abilities saw that he could hold his own against six path-level individuals. Akatsuki, despite being incredibly strong, has no chance against a monster as strong as him. Unfortunately, due to Momoshiki being absorbed by Otsutsuki, his true powers were never shown to fans. That said, it's clear that he would have been an absolute monster in battle.
Kabuto Yakushi
Akatsuki members are incredibly powerful, but cannot compete with any of them Kabuto YakushiWho can raise countless legendary ninjas with Edo Tensei. After his last transformation, he was difficult to even match Itachi. At the peak of his power, Kabuto was so strong that even Sasuke Uchiha and Itachi could not defeat him. In fact, Itachi had to use Izanami's power to stop him, and without this technique, it was completely impossible to stop him.
On his own, Kabuto could defeat every member of the Akatsuki in a one-on-one fight, and this shows how strong he truly was. His sage transformation, along with the powers he received from Orochimaru, and all of the Sound Ninja's abilities on top of that made him completely invincible in battle. His Snake Sage Mode was completely overwhelming and would eliminate the vast majority of Akatsuki.

Kaguya Otsutsuki
Kaguya Otsutsuki Naruto is the ultimate villain of the series. He was brought back by Black Zetsu, who used Madara Uchiha's body as a vessel and saw that he was reincarnated. Kaguya was incredibly powerful, so much so that even Madara Uchiha's massive chakra paled in comparison to hers. Both Naruto and Sasuke working together weren't enough to stop him, and his power was such that the entire planet couldn't compete with him.
Kaguya had access to multiple dimensions, and her strongest ability, the Elaborate Truth-Seeking Orb, could actually destroy an entire dimension by completely resetting it. On top of that, he had access to Infinite Tsukuyomi, the strongest genjutsu in the entire series, with which he could defeat most characters, including every member of the Akatsuki. Kaguya also possessed very powerful taijutsu-based abilities, such as the 80 Gods Vacuum Fist, among many other abilities that could destroy an entire army by herself. She could take the entirety of the Akatsuki and crush them without going all out, and that showed how powerful she truly was.
Momoshiki Otsutsuki
Momoshiki Otsutsuki was first introduced in Boruto movie, and since he was a member of the Otsutsuki clan, it's very easy to see why he was so strong. Momoshiki had the unique ability to absorb any form of ninjutsu and retaliate with it, increasing its power even more. In the battle against Konoha, Momoshiki was able to remove Naruto Uzumaki in his panic state. Later in the line, he was able to hold his own against Naruto and Sasuke, especially after fusing with the Kinshiki.
Momoshiki's overall powers were comparable to Six Paths Naruto, and that's enough to see him fight against Otsutsuki. In fact, even the entirety of Otsutsuki would prove ineffective at the same time looking at him because of how dangerous he really was, especially in his fused form.
