7 characters who could lead their own series

As big a cast as it is, Dragon Ball Has always been Goku's story. From his and Bulma's initial quest to find the seven Dragon Balls, defeating all kinds of enemies like the Red Ribbon Army, King Piccolo, Frieza, and saving the universe from Buu, Goku has been at the center of most of it. Dragon Ball The most important events.

But that doesn't mean she's the only interesting character the series has to offer. a lot Dragon Ball Supporting actors can be good heroes in their own right. The series already has several spin-offs, so why not give some of these great characters a chance to shine in their own series?

The legendary Dragon Ball editor may have just leaked a new movie

Kazuhiko Torishima may have leaked plans for a new Dragon Ball movie weeks before Jump Festa.

Master Roshi

Although he played a pivotal role in the early series directing characters like Goku, Krillin and Yamcha, Master Roshi isn't as relevant as he once was. Despite a cool moment at the Tournament of Power that gave fans a last look at what he can do, Roshi is more of a spectator when things get serious.

But Roshi has lived a long life, and even though he doesn't have much to do now, at times he was more active. The series focusing on the younger Roshi, from him serving as mentor to Grandpa Gohan and the Ox-King, to his time as Master Mutaito's student and his role in the conflict against King Piccolo, will be a great throwback for fans wanting something closer to the original series.

Nameless Namekian

Speaking of King Piccolo, a spin-off focusing on him and Kami breaking up wouldn't be too bad an idea. Nameless Namekian's backstory isn't a complete mystery, but there's still a lot of his life that hasn't been covered.

The story leading up to his time before arriving on Earth and becoming its guardian will be interesting. It will be a fun series to watch, seeing what kind of person he was and what made him so conflicted that the bad part of him had to be separated into an entirely separate entity.

Universe 6 Saiyans

Universe 6 Saiyans was met with mixed reception by fans. Manu felt that they didn't measure up to the Saiyans of Universe 7 as characters. While that's fair, there are some interesting things about them that would make for a good spin-off.

Aside from following characters we already know like Cabba, Cauliflower, and Kale, we also get to see more of Universe 6's Saiyan society. These Saiyans who haven't lost their home world to conflict are far less aggressive and socially advanced than the Saiyans we know. It could be an interesting switch from what we're used to, and a good way to let these new Saiyans grow on the fans.

Bardock

Goku's father, Bardock has to be one of the most popular minor characters in the series. We've already seen Bardock as a special character Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – Goku's father TV Special, The Episode of Bardock what-if scenario, minus, and most recently Granolah The Survivor Saga.

Bardock's character has changed over the years, going from a traditionally aggressive Saiyan in earlier appearances to a more grounded, empathetic outlier in later ones. Regardless of which character you prefer, there's plenty of potential for a Bardock spin-off given his exploits as part of the Frieza Force. Seeing Bardock and his team go on a mission opens things up for fans to learn more about him, the Saiyans, and the universe under Frieza. It's a great way to retrospectively demonstrate the change his character has gone through more organically, showcasing his evolution from a typical battle-obsessed grunt to the more level-headed character he's portrayed as. Minus and Super.

Trunks of the future

Future Trunks had one of the most, if not the most, memorable character encounters the series has ever had. Along with Frieza and King Cold handling some Frieza Force grunts with ease made him a fan favorite right off the bat. Even though he doesn't have much of a role in the story, fans still can't get enough of him.

Future Trunks has been present in the spin-offs, but a series dedicated to his adventures in the future, set around androids, fights with Goku Black and other challenges he faces, would provide plenty. Dragon Ball The fans are happy. He has had time traveling and multiverse angles before Super Dragon Ball HeroesSo maybe something that has more to do with the mainline series would be best.

Gohan

Despite some fans' disappointment with him, Gohan remains a popular character. Although not everyone likes it, Gohan has always been less willing to fight than other Saiyans like his father and Vegeta. Although he has the potential to become one of the most powerful in the series (and it looks like it's finally going in that direction), Gohan is more interested in academics than fighting, unless he needs to.

Still, a Gohan spin-off would excite some fans. More slices of life like the early Buu Saga stuff would be a fun spin-off idea. The series could explore what Gohan achieved in the years after the Cell Games, right before his father's resurrection. That probably won't ever happen, but as long as he remains a big part of the mainline series, fans won't have any complaints.

vegetables

Sabzi probably has the best character arc Dragon BallBeside the piccolo. We've seen him go from Earth-threatening supervillain to reluctant ally and anti-hero, to a full-on good guy who regrets his past crimes and wants to better himself.

Like Bardock, focusing on Vegeta's time under Frieza, leading up to his introduction in Dragon Ball, makes for a great series. Not only do you have a lot to work with considering how long Vegeta was a part of the Frieza Force, but the series could also show us young Vegeta and how the destruction of his planet and the loss of his people affected him. We have already had a glimpse of it Dragon BallBut a full series exploring the character is something many fans would be happy to see.
