Mount Lady
She may not appear much in the series compared to other supporting characters, but the Mount Lady has certainly left a lasting impression on fans, for better or worse. A top tier pro hero, Mount Lady is perhaps the best example of some of the downsides. of My Hero Academia hero society
He is an incredibly arrogant person who sometimes enjoys the notoriety and perks that come with his status as a hero rather than actually being a hero. That said, he is not malicious or cowardly. He has been shown to do the right thing when push comes to shove. But her personality rubs many fans the wrong way, and it's not hard to see why.
Overhaul
Kohei Horikoshi managed to make many of the series' main villains sympathetic characters that fans sympathized with. Some fans even prefer certain villains over the main cast. Overhaul is not one of those villains. In fact, he plays the role so well that some fans can't stand him.
It's easy to see why the overhaul will be hated My Hero Academia fans. Unlike other villains who were shown more understandable reasons as to why they became villains, Overhaul's actions always came across as selfish and misguided. From Ari's inhuman use and behavior, to creating a freak that puts Shi Hasaikai's boss in a coma, wipes out drugs, and kills characters like Sir Knight and Magne, My Hero Academia Fans have many reasons to hate him.
Minoru Minetta
You can't list too many dislikes MHA Characters not to mention Minetta. Probably one of the least impressive members of Class 1-A, Mineta doesn't have much going on as a potential pro hero. But her amazing quirk and small role in the story is why fans don't like her.
Mineta's entire personality centers around being comically perverted. This is pretty much his defining character trait. So you can see why that rubs some fans the wrong way. He has a few moments here and there, but for many, he embodies what some feel like an old trope.
Inasa Yorashi
First introduced during the Provisional Hero License Exam arc, Inasa Yorashi's personality definitely sets her apart from the rest. My Hero Academia Supporting characters. Inasa's intense personality can be too much for some. He is incredibly energetic and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. Those aren't necessarily bad qualities, but there's something about Inasa that rubs some fans the wrong way.
His initial behavior towards Shoto didn't help his stock much, with his first impression making him seem somewhat small for a fan-favorite character. Overall, there isn't much wrong with Inasa as a character, but it's easy to see why there are fans who dislike her.
Yuga Oyama
For most of the series, Aoyama was a fairly innocent if somewhat annoying character. His over-the-top and ridiculously vain persona definitely rubbed some fans the wrong way, but it wasn't until he was revealed as a UA traitor that some fans grew to like him.
The development made Oyama, who had been a pretty one-dimensional comic relief character up until that point, slip even more, but it didn't win him many fans. There are certainly those who sympathize with his situation to some extent, but his annoying personality, along with his massive betrayal, was too much for many.
Himiko Toga
Toga may be one of the most polarizing characters My Hero Academia. She has an incredibly loyal fan base within the community, but there are many fans who either don't like her as a character or who can't do justice to her actions.
Many cite Toga's creepy behavior growing up as the reason they like her, and it's true that she was a victim of a society that ostracized those who were displeased or visibly different. However, many fans do not see this as an excuse for his actions. Toga has killed an unconfirmed number of people, some in self-defense and others less justifiably. Even if some fans can't stand her or don't like her character, she will likely continue to be a popular character for years to come.

Endeavor is another incredibly polarizing character, with his past actions having major consequences in both the main story and his personal life throughout the series. For most of the series and the time leading up to it, Endeavor was an incredibly brash and arrogant man, whose ambition to surpass all mite led him to abuse, neglect, and ultimately destroy his family.
Endeavor has one of the best character arcs of the series, acknowledging the pain he has caused his family, coming to terms with the consequences of his actions, and seeking to make amends, letting go of his ambitions to ruin his life and those of his loved ones. For many fans, he is an irreplaceable character who has harmed those close to him. While fans may appreciate his arc and the steps he takes to atone for his sins, he will always be a hated character for many.
