In RE Village Lady Dimitrescu should have been the main antagonist, not just a secondary one.
Most games have multiple characters ranging from main protagonists to secondary antagonists. Naturally, writers and developers can't give all of them a significant amount of screen time. After all, there is only so much screen time available. It must be admitted that some characters only play a minor role in the overall story.

10 NPCs Who Didn't Deserve Their Fate
We have done our best for them.
They are fictional characters with no emotions, they don't mind. However, their real-world fans may have a problem with their favorites not getting their due. And sometimes, these fans have a point, because there are a lot of characters that deserve more attention than they get. Here are some examples.

the army
Mass Effect series
Legion from the Mass Effect series is an interesting character because he is a geth, a synthetic race of beings traditionally portrayed as villains in the series. In fact, you spend much of the first game killing your brothers. That said, you befriend the Legion in the second game, which allows you to gain a different perspective on your people.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to meet or befriend a creature until deep into Mass Effect 2. As such, you don't get a huge amount of time with him in that game. Then, the dude gets even less screen time in ME3. Sounds like there were many other interesting conversations you could have had with him.

T-bug
Cyberpunk 2077
You meet T-Bug at the start of Cyberpunk 2077 as she works as one of your closest allies in the build-up to the game's first massive mission called The Heist. At this point, it feels like it's going to be a big character in the story. However, during the heist, he dies off-screen.

At first, you might think that this is some kind of trick and that he is cheating on you. This is not true, however; She does indeed die, and you only confirm it through an optional piece of dialogue. It seems that there was a lot that could be done with an interesting character.

Lady Alcina Dimitrescu
Resident Evil Village
Lady Dimitrescu really captured the imagination of Resident Evil fans in the creation of RE Village. His large frame and domineering attitude had intrigued people a lot from the initial trailers. Once the game was released, it proved to live up to the hype. She quickly became one of the best female characters in the series and earned her place among RE's best villains regardless of gender.
However, unlike other iconic RE baddies, he doesn't really feature that much. This is because he dies early in the village, and the game goes to other opponents. It's a shame because he's an interesting enough villain that he could have been the game's main antagonist instead of a secondary one.

Claudia Auditore
The Assassin's Creed series
Claudia is the sister of Ezio Auditore, so she is featured in a sub-series of Assassin's Creed games. However, he doesn't feature that much, as he only appears in occasional cutscenes. She serves a purpose in the story, but she could be a much more important character.
After all, he has a really good arc. She starts out as a great woman who hates the idea of working. However, she eventually starts running businesses and leading people, and she is even accepted into the Assassin Order. Unfortunately, most of her personal growth happens off-screen.

Decoy Octopus
Metal Gear Solid
In the original Metal Gear Solid game, the main villain group consists of several operatives with special abilities known as the Foxhounds. One of them is the Decoy Octopus, who has the ability to take the form of anyone.
However, he won't go down as one of gaming's best shapeshifters, as he only transforms into one person before dying quickly. All of Foxhound's remaining special agents get full boss battles, while Octopus just dies in a cutscene. His shapeshifting ability could have done more.

Cornice
Baldur's Gate 3
There are many characters in Baldur's Gate 3, but there is only one Kar'Niss. He is a character that is visually different from everyone else you meet during the adventure. This is because his upper body is that of a drow, while his lower body is that of a spider. It gives her a unique and memorable look.
You won't see him for long, though, as he only has a small part in the game. In that short time, you learn very little about the creature, which is a shame for someone with such beautiful character design.
2
Bernie
Gears of War series
Bernie is a character who appears briefly in Gears of War 3. At that point in the series, there weren't many female COG soldiers, so she stood out, especially as a grizzled veteran. That said, she has very little screen time, so you don't recognize her.

10 divisive games that deserve a second chance
They are not as bad as you think they are.
Fans who have read some of the Gears of War books may recognize him better as he often appears in those books. In those stories, he is presented as an interesting character and a dangerous fighter. It would have been nice to see it in video game form.

Michelle (aka Karen Daniels)
Grand Theft Auto 4
Partway through GTA 4, your girlfriend Michelle reveals that her real name is Karen Daniels, and that she works for the government. She is a secret agent who is spying on you.
It should be an iconic plot twist, but you don't see much of her before the reveal, outside of a few alternate dates. So, it shouldn't really have an effect. Also, you don't see much of her after the reveal, either, meaning there isn't much follow-up. So, this is a case where a character needs more time than the story itself.
