Emu is the strongest person in the One Piece series, having ruled the world since the Zero Century. Their authority is absolute, which even Gorosei cannot question. They have many powers that are difficult to understand, and some of them are incredibly powerful, such as the ability to transform into a monster, use teleportation and control other people.

Such abilities make emu very dangerous, and even the likes of Rocks were not fully capable of fighting against them. Those who fought against them were helpless in their presence. However, there are brave few who fought against the emu and lived to tell the tale. These characters were not weak and stood among the strongest of their era.

God Valley is one of the most chaotic events that has happened in the series. It had all the big names of the time, and one of them was Whitebird. While a gut-wrenching native hunting game is underway, the emu makes its appearance, shaking the entire island. The pirates were not easily intimidated and retaliated by launching a joint attack on Emu, which barely hurt them. Later, Whitebeard faced the emu again with his crewmates, and finally survived to fight another day.

Kaido

Kaido, in his younger days, was a crew member of the Rocks Pirates and witnessed the power of the emu in all its glory. Kaido's main goal was to steal a Devil Fruit for himself, and he achieved this by obtaining the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu. He also helped Rox in his fight against Emu. However, when Rox was turned into Emu's puppet, Kaido shot him. Keido's luck was cut after what happened, but he somehow survived the ordeal.

Upon arriving in Elbaf, the Straw Hats encounter Emu, who shows them the terrifying power at their disposal. They tried to fight but were overtaken by emus in all areas. It was a very frightening experience, because it revealed their own weakness.

The Straw Hats do their best but are eventually saved by the Giants. To be specific, Dory and Broggy risked their lives to save the Straw Hats and tried to save the emu. Unfortunately, they fall into the clutches of Emu, who is still wreaking havoc on Elbaf, with Luffy and Loki trying to stop them.

Sabo

Sabo became a very important character in the final saga of the story and he was also one of the first to see Emu. When Emu confronts King Cobra about his ancestry, Sabo sees it all firsthand and is shocked to see someone sitting on the empty throne. When the Cobra's life was in danger, he waited to gather information and jumped in front of the monsters. Sabo tries to save him but fails, and only survives because of Cobra's heroic sacrifice. This not only helped the revolutionary army to uncover a great secret, but also helped them prepare for the upcoming final battle.

big mother

• Imu Face: God Valley Incident

Big Mom entered the battle in God Valley to claim the precious Devil Fruits. These fruits were considered as a reward for the winner of the game being played there. Here the great mother came face to face with the emu who controlled the Rocks. There was not much fight between them. Big Mom launched a Conqueror's Haki attack on Emu, and then, Rocks overcame her with a single punch that knocked her unconscious. It is not known how she escaped from the island while Emu was present.

The King of Pirates was no stranger to life-threatening situations. Among the many battles he fought, one that stood out above the rest was the Ishwar Valley incident. There, Roger came to rescue Shakki, and while he was successful, he also took on some dangerous enemies. Roger teams up with Garp to end the Rox's suffering, who urges him to kill them. The battle was intense, but they both eventually came out on top and granted Zebek's wish before being saved from the Holy Knights by Rayle and Gaban.

Loki

Loki had a very troubled past, enduring a rough upbringing where he was not even accepted by his own mother. But fate had other plans for him, and he became one of the few characters to defeat the holy knight and became important to the story of the final saga.

14 years ago, the herald ordered Loki to eat Elbaf's legendary Devil Fruit, and he wasted no time in doing so. Once he ate it, Loki was able to defeat the emu-controlled Harald with no problem. This makes him one of the few survivors of an indirect encounter with an emu. Later, he fought the Emu in Elbaf and managed to freeze them.

Monkey d. Garp

Garp was present at God Valley to bring Roger to justice, but his plans changed when Emu appeared. After Rox is turned into a monster by Emu, both Roger and Garp put their grievances together to fight against this common enemy.

With every ounce of strength in their bodies, the fight was incredibly difficult. After that, they didn't even have the energy to stand up. Instead, they were taken to safety by Rayleigh and Gaban.
