of Jujutsu Kaisen The anime is back and currently providing intense action in the Calling Game arc, but the manga is already over. Having already won the war against Sukuna, the various character arcs in the story have reached their end, and fans can trace the growth of various characters better than ever at this point.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Sukuna's 7 Greatest Achievements in Shinjuku Showdown
Tsukuna was a powerhouse in the Shinjuku Showdown arc. Here are his biggest achievements in JJK's final arc.
It's obvious to fans which characters were the best JJKAnd at the same time, what characters were wasted by the author, Gege Akutami. Unfortunately, in a series like JJK, which started brilliantly, fans didn't expect to see so many doomed characters.. However, as it was handled later in the line, there are clearly plenty of characters who could be so much more. for some reason, Gage failed to give a proper storyline or conclusion to many of the characters, including some of the main cast.
Yuki Tsukumo
-
Sorcerer Rank: Special Grade
-
Cursed Technique: Star Wrath
-
Domain extension: Yes, but unknown
Yuki Tsukumo was an incredibly powerful character known by fans as a special grade mage.; She was one of the most powerful fighters in the story who was essentially wasted in the cooling game. Yuki's character served very little purpose in the story, and fans didn't even get a fair chance to see her progress beyond a single fight.
Yuki was given the chance to demonstrate her abilities against Kenzaku but died in the same battle. Her ideology, her dreams, and so much more were taken away from her in just a couple of chapters, and it was a real shame, because this character could have offered so much more to the story, by showing her power level and the abilities she had along with the dreams she had.
Sumiki
-
Wizard Category: Any
-
Cursed Technology: None
-
Domain Extension: No
Tsumiki was Megumi's sister and a character that Gege often used as a plot device to further Megumi's path in life. However, eventually, despite being the main reason for the Culling game, Tsumiki died. Fans didn't get a good look at the character outside of some interactions with Megumi in flashbacks. Tsumiki and Megumi had an incredibly touching dynamic that could have been explored in the story if she had lived.
Besides, given the pain he faced and how hard Megumi worked to save him, he definitely should have survived and added more depth to the story. Gage could build on her character and add to Megumi's own.
Kinji Hakari
-
Sorcerer Category: Unknown
-
Cursed Technology: Private Pure Love Train
-
Domain Expansion: Passive Death Gambling
Kinji Hakari was known as the strongest magician of the next generation. In fact, Gozo considered him one of the gems that could potentially reach his level one day. However, that didn't happen because Hakari didn't get a chance to shine, especially in the Shinjuku Showdown. there, He was seen standing against Urume, and much to the fans' surprise, they didn't even get to see the proper page involved in the fight.. Everything about him, from his abilities, to his skills, remained unclear in this arc and fans didn't really enjoy his character arc.
Utah
-
Sorcerer Rank: Half-Grade 1
-
Cursed Technology: A Single Forbidden Zone
-
Domain Extension: No
Utahime is one of the most wasted female characters in JJK. It's safe to say The biggest thing he's accomplished in the series up to this point is helping Gozo charge up 200% of his Hollow Purple.Which started his fight against Sukuna.
Other than that, she didn't add anything to the story, and removing her from the plot entirely wouldn't change anything. It shows how much potential Gage wasted with her character. Unfortunately, he doesn't get a single moment of brilliance in the story.
mei mei
-
Sorcerer Rank: Grade 1
-
Cursed Technique: Black Bird Manipulation
-
Domain Extension: No
Mei Mei is yet another magician who doesn't add much to the storyBut his case is different from Utahime's. While Utahime doesn't affect the plot in any way, Mei Mei definitely has her moments. However, this is the reason why fans are disappointed about his involvement in the story. Mei Mei can be so much more if the author decides to push her to her limitsAnd at the same time, fight for his ideals, which revolve around money.
Jujutsu Kaisen: 6 attacks that can kill in one shot
These JJK attacks can shoot multiple enemies.
At the same time, Gage could demonstrate his true abilities. In shonen combat, where a character's worth is determined by how they fight, Mei Mei is always sidelined, which ruins her character.
Megumi Fushiguro
-
Sorcerer Rank: Grade 2
-
Cursed Technique: Ten Shadow Technique
-
Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden
Megumi Fushiguro is one of the main characters of JJKAnd in the Calling Game he was handled well for most of the story, with him being possessed by Sukuna. Sukuna's control over Megumi was only relinquished in the last few chapters of the storyWhich essentially meant that for the most part, Megumi was essentially a vessel for the King of CursesAnd all his character development, along with personal goals, just don't matter anymore.
It would have been one thing if Megumi had been shown growing up after the Sukuna War, but from where the story ended, her entire character arc felt pointless.
Kenzaku
-
Sorcerer Rank: Special Grade
-
Cursed Techniques: Brain Implantation, Cursed Soul Manipulation (Gato), Antigravity (Kaori)
-
Domain Extension: Womb Profusion (Geto)
Kenzaku is one of the biggest antagonists in JJK. Many surprises for fans, He met his end in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, where he was beheaded by Yuta With one swing of his sword and then killed.
Kenzaku was killed in the most absurd wayAnd, given her role as a major antagonist, it was really shocking for fans to see all the potential wasted by Gege in this single chapter.
Nobara Kugisaki
-
Sorcerer Rank: Grade 3
-
Cursed Technique: Straw Doll Technique
-
Domain Extension: No
far away, Nobara is the most wasted character in JJK. Known as one of the three main characters of the series, Nobara was always given less shine than Megumi and Yuji, but things took a turn for the worse for him when he was injured in Shibuya.
From there, she didn't return until the end of the story, where she contributed by launching an attack and assisting Yuji in his fight against Tsukuna. She had already been absent for more than half of the story, and at that point, even bringing her back couldn't salvage the character's handling. Nobara had immense potential and Gage could have done more with her character, but chose not to.
