The only thing holding him back is his weak team. If Kidd were to significantly improve his team and gain more territories, he would definitely be in the running for Yonko with Cross Guild.
Trafalgar Law

In the Wano arc, Law put up several battles against the likes of Kaido and Big Mom. In fact, he was influential in Big Mom's defeat, and Yonko certainly wouldn't have fallen without him.

In the fight against Blackbeard, Law was able to deal him fatal damage but lost.
