Say goodbye to Mega Steelix and Scizor in Pokemon Legends: ZA

Pokemon Legends: ZA Only came out a few days ago, and it's already divided the fanbase due to some polarizing new features and lack of traditional features or sometimes buggy or poor gameplay experience. with Pokemon Legends: ZA Reviews-bombed, it's no wonder there are some unhappy fans, whether it's because some shiny Pokemon are missing or virtually uncatchable due to the game's long tutorial. The game obviously isn't for everyone, and it might upset another segment of the population when they find out that Mega Steelix and Scizor are almost unappealing.

Pokemon Legends: ZA Art Reveals Interesting Mega Scizor Details

Metal Coats are infinitely available in the post-game, but before that, players must be Rank A (Mission 35) to unlock the side missions that reward each one (Steadfast as Steel and A Feather from Skarmory).
In order to trade with other players, one must pay for a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
There are no reported instances of wild Steelix or Scizor in the game yet, meaning they may be trade-only.
You cannot transfer past versions of Steelix or Scizor Pokemon Legends: ZA.

For all of these reasons, it's clear that Mega Steelix and Scizor aren't really easily obtainable, and they might be some of the last Pokemon – if at all. This is especially bad given how early Steelixite and Scizorite can be obtained.

Pokemon Legends: ZA makes getting Steelix and Scizor unnecessarily difficult

Considering that much of the game's content is timed after completing story missions, it's no surprise that Onix and Scyther aren't early catches, or that Metal Coat is hard to get. However, having Steelixite and Scizorite immediately available at the Stone Emporium makes very little sense, while Metal Coat is an endgame item, and requires trading to unlock Steelix and Scizor in the first place.

Shiny Mega Steelix and Scizor are almost impossible to obtain in Pokemon Legends: ZA

On top of that, inside the shiny Pokemon Pokemon Legends: ZA Merchandising can be difficult, meaning fans who want a shiny Mega Steelix or scissor will be even harder to get. This is because they need to find fellow players who meet all the necessary conditions to get Steelix and Scizor and have NSO membership, and they also need to find a shiny development business.

Yes, there are Pokemon Legends: ZA Now trade codes to simplify things, but with no chat and random people joining the trade, it's incredibly difficult to find someone willing to trade a shiny Onix or Scyther with a metal coat. It's a very strange move for Game Freak, and it's not clear why Mega Steelix and Scizor in particular got the short end of the stick.
