Diablo 4 players have 47 days to earn a free pet

with Diablo 4With the Season 11 PTR now running until October 28, it's starting to feel like Season 10 has entered its sunset phase. Diablo 4 Season 10 has undoubtedly been one of the best seasons the game has ever seen, so it will be a sad day for fans when it ends and mechanics like Chaos Armor and Chaos Perks disappear. With the end of season 10, Diablo 4 Players will also miss out on free cosmetic items that can be earned through season travel and items including a new pet, Pandora the Fox.

Diablo 4 Pets were introduced in season 4 to overhaul the loot collection mechanics. Having an active pet isn't just a cosmetic bonus Diablo 4 players, but comes with the utility of automatically collecting certain drops like gold, gem pieces, and other resources. Earning Pandora the Fox allows players to claim one of the few free pets in the game while also ensuring they have an adorable way to pick up valuable resources without even having to think about them.

Diablo 4 players can only earn Fox Pet Pandora during Season 10

However there are many pets players can get Diablo 4Only a handful are available for free. Most of the time Diablo 4 Pets are locked behind Premium Battle Passes or need to be purchased with Platinum from Tejal's shop. However, the past few seasons have given players the opportunity to earn a companion pet for free by following the Season Journey:

Diablo 4 Season 9 – Dante the Dog
Diablo 4 Season 10 – Pandora Fox

How to earn Pandora Fox in Diablo 4 Season 10

To unlock Pandora Fox as a pet Diablo 4Players will need to continue the season journey and complete Chapter 6. To complete this chapter players need to complete 5 of the 6 objectives of the chapter:

Rifted Out Madness
The Chaos of Hell
- Unwrap the mystery tyranny gift
- Defeat Blood Maiden 5x
- Defeat Hellborne is caused by reaching the maximum threat level
- Discover and close 25 Chaos Rifts
Plutonian destruction
Defending the area
- Complete a World Event with Mastery
- Complete an army event
- Defeat the world boss
Live in excess
- Craft any jewelry cache at Jeweler
- Craft Smithy Cash at the Blacksmith
- Save 99 Ancestral Legendary Gear at the Blacksmith
Knock on the gates of hell
- Complete Artificer's Tier 55 or higher
- Improve a Paragon Glyph to level 45

Because not all of these objectives need to be met Diablo 4 Season 10 Chapter 6 and earn Pandora the Fox, players have the option to choose the easiest for them. Players can make progress towards completing some of these objectives before unlocking the chapter, so it's possible they won't have to invest much time finishing them once Chapter 6 becomes available.

Along with Pandora the Fox, players also earn Mystery Greater Archetype Cache, 1120 Infernal Warp, and 3 Smoldering Ashes for completing this chapter.

Diablo 4 Season 10's free cosmetics went live after December 9th

unfortunately, Diablo 4 Players will no longer be able to obtain Pandora the Fox as a pet after Season 10 ends. Like past pets earned from seasonal travel, this reward is only available for a limited time. With Season 10 ending on December 9 and giving way to Season 11 on the same day, players must capitalize on the 47 days left to grind the Season Journey if they want to get special free pets before they leave.
