Vanillite Ma is one of the few Ice-type Pokemon Pokemon Legends ZA Pokedex, and surprisingly, it's received a decent movepool revamp, making it quite viable for PvE and PvP battles, if players know how to capture and train it, that is.
Learn all about Vanillite, where to find it, and how to evolve it into Vanillis and Vanillux in Pokemon Legends ZA, along with a careful analysis of its stats, movesets, and recommended EV training.
Where to find Vanillite in Pokemon Legends ZA
Vanillite is a pure Ice-type Pokemon that appears in it
Wild area 7 and
Forest area 12. It's a daily Pokemon, so if players want to catch it, they have to look for it during the day.
Once trainers catch it, they should know that training it won't be easy, as its low HP value turns this Pokemon into a glass-cannon (despite its high Sp. Atk). But evolving it into Vanilish and Vanilux should greatly increase its stats.
How to Evolve into Vanilite and Vanillux in Pokemon Legends ZA
Vanillite evolves into Vanillis at level 35, and then into Vanilox at level 47. This can be a bit confusing for trainers as there are some Pokemon that evolve at this level.
-
To evolve Vanillite, players need to open the menu pressing X.
-
Then, in Vanilite's thumbnail menu, they should Select 'Evolve'.
-
When the animation ends, Vanilite should have evolved into Vanillis.
-
Once Vanillis reaches level 47, the same process can be repeated.
runs like cold wind and snowfall (Targeted AoE) has been substantially reworked and is Practically worthless In terms of combat efficiency. The new meta is Fixed AoE moves or Physical low cooldown movesor Close moves Like brave birds, extreme speed.
Vanilluxe is also a pure Ice-type Pokemon with a BST (Base Stat Total) of 535, which is not as high as other Ice-type Pokemon like Glali or Froslas. Unfortunately, Vanilluxe doesn't evolve Mega, but its moveset is still something to watch out for if trainers are willing to deal some serious STAB damage.
Nature at its best for Vanilluxe Pokemon Legends ZA Relax (+Def – Speed) or Bold (`Def – Attack). Vanilluxe doesn't need Atk, so consider choosing Bold as speed is somewhat important even with the new combat system. For the EV spreadUse the following: 252 HP/252 Sp. Atk/ 6 Speed or 252 HP/ 252 Def/6 Sp. Atk.
Its ideal moves include: the ice beam (good range, STAB, decent cooldown, and pre time), mist (protects Vanilluxe from stat-reduction moves), Acid Armor (boosts defense, and helps deal with physical attackers), Freeze-dry (A completely broken AoE Ice-type move, with an extremely high chance of causing Frozen, plus, it's super effective against Water-types).
To use Vanilox in the main story, players should know that the biggest threat to this Pokemon are close-range attackers (eg
hidden away), so use Mist behind the Acid Armor to help Vanilite cover and use its Ice Beam move.
When an enemy Pokémon is near, use Freeze-Dry, which acts a lot like Earthquake, casting an AoE around Vanilox and blocking melee attackers.
