Enemy Types New players tend to underestimate (at their peril).

ARC Raiders A very different type of extraction shooter with a much greater emphasis on the environmental aspects of PvPvE. Robot enemies of the game Scattered around the topside are anything but cakewalks, many more deadly than an entire group of riders. for yet New playersIt can be difficult to gauge their strength without facing them head on, leading to many deaths. Underestimating your strengths.

It may seem overwhelming at first, but with enough knowledge, these scary ARCs can become quite trivial. Some have very specific weaknesses that can be easily exploited, while others have specific strategies that can make fights much simpler. Even with those techniques in mind, these enemies should always be respected, as players can find themselves back in Speranza without their hard-earned loot in moments.

The Rocketeers

Hell rains from the sky

ARC Raiders Rocketeer

The Rocketeers One of the deadliest ARCs in the entire game, and time and time again, players underestimate just how powerful they can be. The bloodiest bot in Server Slam, Rocketeers can be incredibly problematic when encountered in the jungle. Not only are they incredibly fast, they're ruthless, and their damage is enough to take down players with a few rockets, forcing them to seek cover indoors or risk falling.

The reason many players underestimate how difficult it is to deal with Rocketeers is that they can easily take out individual Wasps or Hornets with little or no problem, so when they see another flying enemy, many assume that a few well-placed shots will be enough to knock them out of the sky. In reality, their entire bodies are heavily armored, meaning that most low-level weapons would be nearly useless for breaking down and dealing any meaningful damage. As such, new players should pick their battles carefully and return with some more powerful guns and some higher-tiered grenades before they take on these flying enemies.

Pops

Save those bullets

ARC Raiders Pop

Pops There are weak enemies that players will face ARC RaidersBut their fragile exterior hides some deadly explosives that can easily ruin any rider's day. Found in several large structures around the map, the pops roam around patrolling for intruders and quickly turn red when they spot nearby players. Once they grow, it's only a matter of time before the pops gain momentum and explode in flames, dealing massive amounts of damage and burning anyone nearby.

For the most part, they're not that big of a problem, since they don't have an armored exterior and can be taken out with a few shots from basically any weapon. However, if they manage to catch a player's bullets while hiding or reloading, the damage pops deal can put a big dent in their health bar or kill them outright. New riders need to keep an eye out when entering any building; If they're not careful, an explosion could end them.

Wasps

Deadly in numbers

ARC Raiders Wasp

Wasps The most common enemies players will encounter are Topside, but their abundance says nothing about their overall strength. Usually found flying around scanning for lone raiders, Wasps often roam in groups or can be accompanied by a large ARC like the Hornet, making it very difficult for players to deal with. Yet even by themselves, Wasps can be very problematic, as they can quickly lock onto players and deal massive amounts of damage even when they're on fire.

What makes wasps even more deadly is how hard they can be to hit. If they are down a thruster and smoking in the sky, they continue their search and maintain an onslaught of bullets. Also, many new players may instinctively run in to heal or avoid wasp attacks without realizing that they can fly through doors or windows. This means that, no matter where the players are, they need to keep their wits about them, as a single Wasp can easily float by and deal the final blow to a weakened rider.

Lippers

No distance is too far

ARC Raiders Leaper-1

Lippers Many are terrifying and all are seen on the map ARC RaidersWalking around like a mechanical spider and keeping an eye out for any movement nearby. Players who have just picked up the game can see from a distance and try to take a few potshots to weaken them, or test their guns, but that could easily be their last mistake. Without any effort, leapers can jump 100s of meters horizontally and vertically to cover the distance quickly.

They suffer from a very simple size weakness, which prevents them from penetrating any structure, no matter how small. However, in the open, they can aggro from a long distance, and once they have their eyes on a player, they will continue to jump and run until nothing stands. Thanks to their reasonably large health pools, players are advised to come back with a good loadout of grenades and guns before attempting to take down the Leapers, as without the right set of equipment, ammo supplies can run dry, leaving players defenseless against the Leapers' relentless attacks.

the police

Heavy damage from any distance

ARC Raiders Sentinel

the police are very rare in the grand scheme of things and are only found in locations set in certain hot zones on the map. They act as sniper turrets surveying the area for raiders looking for loot, and after finishing their shot, they can deliver a massive hit from a significant distance. Up close, they don't pose much of a threat, as players can easily use cover to avoid their shots, and their health pool isn't large enough to require a large ammo investment.

However, if new players are unaware of what Sentinel's laser means or choose to ignore it completely, they will quickly regret it and feel the full power of ARC's attack. Because they can only turn and not actually move around, players will have no problem finding a good angle from which to take cover and take them out, but before they are safe, they must be alert, as that single sniper shot can be enough to heal them. This can also alert nearby players who are more than happy to clean up an injured raider and take their loot.
