Call of duty black ops 7 fans spot clean map easter egg

In case you missed it, this year's annual Call of Duty entry, Black Ops 7, is officially out in the wild. Unfortunately, things surrounding Black Ops 7 can't be all negative, from its “mixed” reviews on Steam (thanks to its sub-par campaign) to its sales, especially in Europe where Battlefield 6 ate Call of Duty's lunch and then some.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's campaign is the worst thing I've played this year

The single player campaign in Black Ops 7 is an utter waste of your time.

However, for people playing Black Ops 7, things are looking up good, Some people are actually enjoying the game. Case in point: this fan who discovered the map “Print,” one of the 19 BO7 maps available, actively tracks how many times players exit the map to their unfortunate demise.

As first shared on Reddit, there's a “Falls Today” counter that goes up when a fall is recorded in the game. As one user pointed out, there's room for up to four digits, meaning Treyarch and company are planning an absurd number of drops, though it doesn't look like anyone's tested the counter out yet.

“LOL? Now I insist on checking it every time,” one user wrote on Reddit.

Same!

Last year, when Black Ops 6 was released, coincidentally, another Treyarch title, the map “Vault” had a diving board that was fully functional. As TheGamer later wrote, “This means that if you hit the jump button on the shore, your player character will travel skyward, just as if you jumped on a real-life diving board.”

“Our design team continues the rich tradition of functional diving boards from Miami in the Cold War ;),” a certified Treyarch developer wrote on Reddit.

At first, many took to the diving board as a means of quickly killing unsuspecting enemies by jumping from above and out of their line of sight. However, another user discovered that the diving board had enough power to propel someone onto a balcony on a nearby building, allowing someone to easily escape the fray.

This is just one of the many Easter Eggs found throughout Call of Duty's history, which will continue regardless of whether there is positivity or negativity in the air.

Skill-based matchmaking may be gone, but that doesn't seem to have done the trick to draw players away from Ark Raiders.
