the saint Figureland Garling is the Supreme Commander of the Holy Knights and one of the Five Elders a piece. Garling was promoted after Saturn was killed by an emu in the Egghead arc. At the time, the promotion seemed well-earned, as Garling was the champion of the God Valley.
The nickname indicated that Garling was the greatest winner of the Lord Valley Event, one of the most important events in One Piece history. naturally, a piece Fans were curious about how Garling got the title. Fortunately, Oda revealed every single detail about the God Valley incident in Loki's flashback.
15 years later, Eiichiro Oda sets up the greatest revenge story in one piece
Oda sets up One Piece's biggest revenge story, and it all has to do with Blackbeard in One Piece.
Figarland Garling was not the true champion of God's Valley
He barely did anything during the Bhagwan Valley incident

Garling was probably given the title because he was popular
In a flashback, it is revealed that Garling fatally wounded Shanks and Shamrock's mother. In addition to attacking the mother of his children, Garling also preyed on the innocent people of God Valley. He killed them in cold blood because he wanted to win the tournament and claim Shakki as a prize.
Garling's only serious fight in God's Valley was Davy D. came against Zebek. Before the battle, readers expected Garling to put up a good fight against the pirates. But it ended rather quickly with Jaybeck putting Garling through the ringer. Garling's humiliating loss meant he failed at the first hurdle, which was a huge shock.
After the beating, Garling did not fight with anyone else. Instead, he reappears when Jabek is beaten by Roger and Garp. He went with Maffey and Sommers to check on Xebec and delivered the final blow to the pirates. With Xebec's death, the God Valley event ended. The world government was humiliated by the pirates, so it decided to hide the truth.
Almost all evidence about the existence of God Valley was erased, and the truth was made. Garp was given full credit for stopping the transformed Xebec. Meanwhile, Garling was given the title of Champion of God's Valley, even though he had made no valuable contribution.
Garling will be among the final villains of One Piece
As previously stated, Garling was promoted to the rank of Gorosei by Emu, indicating that he trusted them. So, Garling will have an important role to play in the final saga of One Piece. Currently, there's no sign of her being involved in the Elbaf arc, so she'll either be involved in another arc or Oda might save her for the ending. It is possible that Garling was forced to fight Blackbeard at some point, as he dealt the final blow to Jabek.
Blackbeard's relationship with his father is unclear, but it seems that he plans to take revenge on all those who have wronged him. For example, he went after Ochoku, who betrayed the Rocks Pirates and handed Shockey over to the World Government. Blackbeard eliminated Ochoku and took control of Hachinosu, a place Xebec frequented. The incident indicates that Blackbird knows everything related to his father, or at least the important ones. Fans shouldn't be surprised by Blackbeard's knowledge of history, as Oda reveals that Yonko likes to research. As Blackbird goes through historical records, he must also learn about his father's past.
Blackbird is probably aware of Xebec's desire to take over the world. When Saturn asked Van Aguer about the crew's plans, the latter replied that they wanted the world. At the time, it looked like Blackbeard wanted to be king of the world, but an important detail in Loki's flashback changed things. In a flashback, Jabek refers to Emu as the world itself. By connecting the dots, it becomes clear that the blackbird wants to eliminate and capture the emu. However, Blackbeard isn't going to make any decisions on the spur of the moment. He is a calm and calculating person who only makes decisions by weighing the pros and cons. Hopefully, Oda will reveal Blackbird's goals soon.
