Set beneath Haddonfield's water tower, the newly revealed level channels the original film's neat lawns and hedges that turn into a maze of blind corners after dark. “We wanted players to feel the comfort of the neighborhood they knew from the film, before we turned it into terror,” IllFonic design director Jordan Mathewson said in a prepared statement. “Every hedge, hallway and backyard was designed to heighten the suspense and reward clever play, whether you're hunting or being hunted.”
