ARC Raiders Developer Embark Studios released a new patch for its third-person evacuation shooter on December 11, bringing a handful of critical fixes to the game ahead of a big cold snap update next week. Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC can download now ARC Raiders 1.6.0 update, which also brings a new store rotation with some fresh cosmetic items for players to get their hands on.
Even if it starts smack bang in the middle Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, ARC Raiders has managed to find great success with gamers. Embark's second title has not only received rave reviews from critics and players alike, but has also broken its way onto the Steam charts and become one of the platform's most played games. Even after six weeks, ARC Raiders While Steam still has over 300,000 concurrent users every day, its lowest point is still over 100,000 active players. I just spent 3 painful hours using the worst weapon in ARC Raiders and can confirm: it needs a buff
Which ARC Raiders weapon is the best is debatable, after using it, I think I found the answer which is the worst.
However, that doesn't mean the withdrawal shooter doesn't have its fair share of problems. Embark already had to hotfix an exploit that saw players navigating their way into a locked room without the relevant keycard, but now the community has discovered a way to get out of bounds on certain maps, such as the massively popular Stella Montis. in a game like ARC Raiders While looting and making it out alive is part of the core gameplay loop, getting killed by another player who cheated by making a mistake on your way out of the map can be massively frustrating. Thankfully, Embark now appears to have fixed the exploit with the latest update.
The new ARC Raiders update fixes the Stella Montis exploit
while the latter ARC Raiders While the update doesn't include any new content, there are a handful of significant fixes that should make the gameplay experience more enjoyable. According to the official patch notes, which can be found further on in this article, Embark has removed the zipline on Stella Montis, which was allowing players to exit the boundary. The studio also says that it has fixed a crash that allowed players to vault and fall through the walls of the Blue Gate, fixed content issues where multiple objects could not block bullet fire or ARC vision, and fixed a gap in the crash in the Spaceport Launch Tower that allowed players to shoot through walls.
