Later in the Enies lobby arc, the pirate fought Lucci again, and this time, he gave the CP9 agent a run for his money. In the end, Lucci gained the upper hand and began to dominate the fight. He struck Luffy several times, but the latter refused to fall on his back. Luffy stood his ground until he delivered the final blow to Lucy and won the fight.
