Like many others Diablo 4 Fans, as soon as Lord of Hatred was announced with the Paladin class shadow drop for Season 11 I knew I would be running it as my first character of the season. I usually don't like flying in new ones Diablo 4 Season blind, and carefully plan my build in the weeks leading up to the season start date. However, all of that went out the window when Paladin was announced, but I would have liked some advance warning about a disadvantage that Paladin would be building ahead of time.
jumping into Diablo 4 Day 11 of Season 11 with Paladins almost felt like starting a brand new game, as the nature of the class's shadow drop meant no one knew how it would play and what the builds would look like. After spending some time with the skill tree and planning what skills I wanted to invest in for the early game, I realized that a lot of my builds would depend on the uniques and legendaries available and how they each coordinate with the Paladin's various Oaths. Achieving my ideal build would prove to be more difficult than I thought, as it's not possible to target Paladin's specific legendary aspects from dungeons. Diablo 4.

Most Diablo 4 classes have specific legendary aspects tied to specific dungeons
With a total of 46 legendary aspects, it could have been better Diablo 4 Will allow players to earn something in the form of guaranteed drops from completing certain dungeons. As it stands, everything else Diablo 4 Classes have a handful of their legendary aspects held back from completing certain dungeons, allowing players a straightforward method of adding them to their codex. However, Paladins are not so lucky and must instead rely on the random chance of finding a legendary with their desired aspect to fill out their codex.
Paladins can still access the usual legendary aspects that drop from dungeons and are available to all classes. Only Paladin-specific legendary aspects are unavailable from dungeons.
Paladins can only fill their codex of power by saving other legendaries
In search of the legendary aspects necessary for me Diablo 4 The Paladin build – which includes the Golden Hour aspect, Judger aspect, and Holy Punishment aspect – is the only Golden Hour aspect I've found so far in my Season 11 leveling grind. This is because I am at the mercy of the RNG of Legendary drops from Helltide Chests and Whisper Caches, hopefully I can find a piece of gear with one of these aspects that I can salvage to add it to my codex. With 46 Paladin legendary aspects and those in the general pool, finding the two specific aspects I needed to complete my build was an exercise in frustration.
Saving giants makes finding the right side a gamble for Diablo 4 players
In general, I enjoy the process of adding legendary aspects to my codex and then applying them to a piece of gear. Diablo 4the wizard of However, I wish the system was better Diablo 4’s new tempering mechanic, where finding a temper manual yields several affixes that can be tempered to a piece of gear. If Diablo 4 There was an item that allowed multiple legendary aspects to be unlocked in the codex at once, this would remove some of the hassle of grinding for a random legendary gear drop with the desired suffix.
Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred will likely solve the Paladin's legendary aspect problem
To save me some sanity, I'm hopeful that the Lord of Hate Expansion will address this issue. I assume part of the reason Paladins don't have any legendary aspects that can be earned from dungeons is that all dungeons in Sanctuary already have an associated legendary aspect or are assigned to another mechanic. Rather than adding new dungeons for the legendary aspects of Paladin Diablo 4 Season 11, I imagine this will be when the expansion starts. Lord of Hatred is adding Scovos as a new area for players to explore, and the area is likely to feature dungeons with legendary aspects for both paladins and a second unannounced class, much like Nahantu did for the Spiritborn in Vessel of Hatred.
