ARC Raiders blueprint spawn rate is out of control

New update for ARC Raiders Blueprint spawn locations have been expanded to improve availability in underrepresented regions, but it looks like the rate increase may be a bit over the top, as players are leaving raids with up to eight blueprints at a time. Shortly after the Cold Snap update went live on December 16, ARC Raiders Excitement erupted on social media after players received several rare blueprints. This has led some to speculate that a hotfix may be on the way to reverse the change.

Earlier today, developer Embark Studios released a second major content update ARC RaidersKnown as a cold snap. Arriving just in time for the Christmas period, the patch has tons of cosmetics, events, and game-changing features for players. The most notable of which is the new Cold Snap map modifier, which covers the map in snow. However, this is not a simple aesthetic change, as visibility is limited, the ice is slippery, and the cold temperatures put the attackers' lives at risk if they stay outside for too long. The good news is that loot prices have increased during the revamp. The update includes the new Flickering Flames event, several quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and much more.

How to get Ark Raiders Free Skin Finale

ARC Raiders players can get a free costume, but they have to play a completely different game

With the launch of the Cold Snap update, Embark Studios is giving ARC Raiders players a chance to get their hands on the costume for free, but there's a catch.

ARC Raiders Buffs Blueprint spawn rate, possibly a little too much

In the official patch notes for today's update, developer Embark Studios said it has expanded Blueprint spawn locations to improve availability in underrepresented regions, while Aphelion is moving Blueprint drop from Matriarch to Stella Montis. It's unclear if General Embark intends to follow the Blueprints patch, but players are reporting finding tons of them in just one game. One user called Stella Montis “Broken”, as they extracted a total of four blueprints, one of which was the rare weapon Apelion. ARC Raiders. Another user took a solo raid on the new Cold Snap map modifier and managed to make it out with a staggering eight blueprints. They then joked that they didn't believe there would be a problem getting the blueprints after the upcoming campaign.

First ARC Raiders Expedition Project is set to depart on December 22nd, but the latest update appears to have made several changes that might make players think otherwise about doing a reset. While blueprints will certainly be easier to retrieve after a reset (Embark doesn't change the spawn rate, supposedly), patch 1.7.0 allows players to reset their skill tree for coins. For those who may be unaware, it is impossible to max out the skill tree without resetting, as the campaign grants five additional skill points. This means that players need to allocate their points carefully depending on what they want their rider to specialize in. However, the ability to reset these points is a real game-changer, some say it makes the campaign even less compelling.

While Embark was intended to increase the spawn rate of Blueprints, it is unclear if this is the intended result. If the studio wants to reverse the values, or at least reduce them slightly, a new hotfix update may be on the way. But, with that being said, Embark recently announced that the team will be taking a much needed break over the Christmas period. The studio noted that new updates will no longer be released on a weekly cadence, as they have been since launch. “From now on, our release window and store rotation will move to Tuesdays,” Embark said. It went on to explain that the studio would take a “much-needed break” and return with more updates in January. “At this time we will continue to monitor and work on critical issues.”

The highly anticipated Cold Snap update also came with new collaborations final, giving permission ARC Raiders Fans to get their hands on a special new costume. However, there is a catch, because fans have to jump final And play three games to get the skin. The good news is that Embark's first-person shooter is completely free-to-play and available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
