For the most part, Ark Raiders is a pretty serious game. It's all about infiltrating a hostile environment full of deadly robots and other players out to trick you, but that doesn't mean developer Embark Studios can't get a little whimsical here and there. We all know about the love of the game of rubber ducks, and when the game first started, you couldn't move for players playing the flute.
Almost two months after the game's release, Arc Raiders now has a new musical instrument for players to mess with, this time an acoustic guitar. Unfortunately, actually getting hold of this device is proving to be too much of a task for most people, as it requires solving a pretty complex puzzle involving over a dozen random buttons found in the Buried City.
You actually need to activate all these buttons in the correct order, but if you press the wrong one, the whole puzzle resets. Not too bad, you might think, but you're playing a multiplayer game, remember. Not only are there mourners to contend with, but you can always get some curious bozos and hit a random button to reset your progress.
Arc Raiders fans have been dying for the game's new acoustic guitar
As a result, the Arc Raiders subreddit is full of horror stories about actually trying to hold an acoustic guitar. For example, a user named Iki-u claims to have spent “9 hours straight” successfully completing the puzzle. In the answers, they go on to admit that they were “very angry” at the challenge, but that it was “worth all the pain”.

Your goals can only take you so far.
Another user called Teeeeedot admitted that they spent eight hours trying to get it, while less flexible players like Any-Value1142 gave up due to random players breaking the puzzle before they could complete it. What's even funnier is that you have a lot of people admitting to pressing random buttons they find, even if they don't know what they're doing. Now they know they probably ruined someone's day.
It's such a tricky puzzle that many are claiming it's impossible to do completely alone, but if you don't have any friends, and you're willing to get your hands dirty, there's a much easier way to get the guitar. As a Reddit user named Thomas2s pointed out, you really need to follow the acoustic guitar and Dom's voice. Sure, you're a terrible person and I don't know how you sleep at night, but hey, you have a guitar!
