Marvel Rivals fan imagines what a crossover with DC would look like

Although it hasn't reached the same peak of concurrent players that it did when it was released a year ago, Marvel Rivals, for all its warts – and there are many – is still a popular game, averaging around 100,000 players per day on PC alone.

That said, imagine if NetEase partnered with DC Comics and Warner Bros. instead of Marvel, and everyone like Batman, Wonder Woman, and Plastic Man were fighting it, skins like Kingdom Come Superman were being sold, and the biggest sentiment was stupid?

Sonic X Justice League Crossover.

I need more Sonic X Justice League content, really bad

Sonic Team has a lot of potential as a Justice League hero.

Well imagine no more, because one creator has put together some concepts of what the DC rivals could look like, and it's epic.

At this point, DC fans will take anything they can get when it comes to gaming content.

Over on Twitter, the creator, Angre, who specializes in concepts, has released some of his own for the DC rivals, including some great key art of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in hyper-stylized looks of the rival.

The concepts don't stop there, though, as Angre has decided that Superman and Wonder Woman will be vanguard characters while Batman will be a strategist.

Oh, and don't forget about the skins, as the creator has taken their original designs and modified them to fit different comic-accurate looks, just as Rivals mis-mashed the two Flares.

Of course, no DC team would be complete without the rest of the Justice League, so Aquaman, Green Lantern and Flash are also included in the follow-up art. Both Aquaman and Flash will serve as duelists in this fantasy world. Meanwhile, Green Lantern will join Batman on the strategist side.

And, yes, they have skins too, including the Reverse Flash outfit that will almost certainly be required to launch with this concept.

Overall, it's an awesome concept with a lot of work done to help it click with the standards that Netize has established with Marvel Rivals, including class roles and comic looking but still armor based outfits.

The shame of it all, really, is that it simply doesn't exist, and given the recent gaming options that DC fans have to contend with (Gotham Knights or Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League), it's a shame it's not out there.
