As if December 31, 2025, or January 1, 2026, depending on your region, wasn't already filled with plenty of gaming-related announcements, including the start of Pokemon's 30-year celebration, as well as Persona's own 30th anniversary website, the Blubber team decided to launch a new game in the form of a new website.
If you have a minute and navigate all the way to remosdneulserorehsovamceyerd.com, you'll find a countdown clock that ends 45 days from now, which is February 15th.
As it stands, we know the tagline is “Dare to Peek in the Dark,” and some fans think they have some idea of what the URL means when you unscramble things.
“Get rid of your old dreams, Chosen Seer” is the current speculation among social media users.
As for what the game might be, well, that's where things get complicated. We know that Blubber has been tasked with remaking the first Silent Hill after their huge success with the Silent Hill 2 remake. We still have no resolution on whether or not the SH2 remake will be Born of Desire as DLC.
If it's not SH-related, some think it could be Remothered, a remake of Eternal Darkness or a sequel to The Darkness, which we haven't seen since 2012.
The best horror games are cheap crap
Janky indie games are the best horror money can buy – and it's not even a lot of money.
Either way, this ensures that February will be a stacked month not only for game releases but also for announcements.
Get your rest in January, because February is about to be jam-packed
Before we get into the games, it's worth noting that this countdown ends on February 15th, Pokemon will officially turn 30 on February 27th, and there's bound to be another update to the Persona 30th Anniversary website at some point in the month.
As far as games go, well, where do we begin? Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined will begin the month on February 5th, and Resident Evil Requiem will close the month on February 27th.
But in between all of that, you'll be looking at another My Hero Academia game in the form of My Hero Academia: All's Justice (February 6), Romeo is a Dead Man from Grasshoper (February 11), Mario Tennis Fever (February 12) and High on Life 2 (February 13).
That's just the heavy hitters. As always, there's bound to be an indie title or two that steals everyone's attention, or a Shadowdrop or two that helps make what's already shaping up to be a monster month even bigger.
