Pokemon Legends: ZAThe Mega Dimension DLC came out about a month ago, and it introduced a lot of new ways to play the game, find your favorite critters, hunt shiny, and get a ton of free Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. Whether the expansion is for everyone is up for debate, as it has disease-like elements like random and time-limited hyperspace areas, but it's hard to argue against the fun it can bring to the table with multiple returning Pokemon and new Mega Evolutions. No matter where you stand, if you want to get all ranked rewards Pokemon Legends: ZAYou must play through each season, and season 5 may be when your worst nightmares come to life.

How this DLC works, what the seasonal model includes for ranked battles and rewards, and how Pokemon Legends: ZALegendary and Legendary Pokemon can reshape PvP massively. The reasons are:

  • Pokemon Legends: ZAMega Darkrai is the embodiment of nightmares and the main plot point of the DLC, and in battle, it's incredibly powerful thanks to its absurd 165 base special attack and 130 defense and special defense.

  • Season 5 allows players to use more Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in the game, and the list of new entries includes:

  • Some of the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon that will be available in Season 5 are difficult to obtain because they rely on RNG, as there is no way to manipulate the special scans you will receive. This means you can't get them before or even in Season 5, if you haven't already, and the process can drag on for days if you also want to hunt shiny Latias, Latios, Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion.

Pokemon Legends: ZA is about to get its Mega Dimension DLC, and players can expect tons of new Mega Evolutions, returning Pokemon, and more.

According to The Pokemon Company, you can only use Lumiose Pokédex numbers 1 through 227 and Hyperspace Pokédex numbers 1 through 127, including numbers 131 and 132. This does not include Xernes, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Mewtwo, Kyogre, ZroudzayAn Groudzay.

Among these Pokémon, there are some with rather large pedigrees in competitive battles. The most prominent examples are:

  • Terrakion: One of the best focus sash holders around, with sword dance and STAB rock and fighting-type moves.

  • Genesect: Genesect has one of the best types in the series and will likely replace Golisopod Pokemon Legends: ZA.

  • Magarna: This Pokemon has the best type of combo Pokemon Games with Steel/Fairy, and now has access to Mega Evolution

These Pokemon will be on almost every team, which reduces variety and forces a specific meta where you have to be able to counter them. Terrakion will probably be one of the most used Pokemon Legends: ZA When season 5 starts on January 7, and the same goes for Magearna. Since both of these are weak to the ground, Pokemon like Garchomp will remain at the top of the meta, repeating the same cycle of seasons 2 and 3 with Xerneas and Mewtwo.
