Sony has officially revealed a trio of new console covers for the PS5 and DualSense controllers, unveiling the “Hyperpop” collection. Each cover boasts a patterned design, melting from solid black at the top of the cover to bright neon red, green, or blue below. The images included in the post highlight the covers on the slim model of the PS5, with no confirmation on whether alternative colors are also coming for the PS5 Pro. Sony also revealed some important dates for fans regarding the new console covers, with pre-orders opening on January 16 and the covers officially launching on March 12.
The surprising new console covers for Sony are far from the first time the company has offered some attractive PS5 options. The PS5 previously received a wide variety of different-colored console covers, allowing players to switch out the basic white plate for a new look.
