Xbox has officially teamed up with Pringles to offer some free gifts for World of Warcraft, Sea of Thieves, Fallout 76and The outside world 2But unfortunately, the promotion is restricted in the EU and requires a smartphone to complete. While international gamers can technically get items from this Xbox promo, they have to jump through a few hoops to do so.
Fans of Xbox are no strangers to partnering with popular snack makers for unique promotions featuring items for various games. For example, in 2024, Xbox partnered with both Trolli and Mountain Dew to provide items for games like World of Warcraft, Diablo 4, Sea of Thieves, The Elder Scrolls online, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024and Madden NFL 25.

New data reveals the most played games of 2025, and considering the many big titles released that year the results may be surprising.
Now, Pringles has put its chips on the table with its own Xbox gaming gift. From now until May 5, players who create an account on the Pringles website can generate codes that can be redeemed for free in-game items for the following titles, one per day:
- World of Warcraft: Crimson Bow Tie
- Sea of Thieves: Scarlet Stack Pal
- Fallout 76: Mr. Vault Boy Outfit and Mr. Vault Boy Mascot Head
- The outside world 2: Julius P. Canid Skin
However, there is some fine print that aspiring fans should be aware of. First and foremost, this promotion is only available in the UK and EU. Pringles cans in these areas are advertising sports promotions on physical products, even though the website may indicate otherwise, with no purchase required to obtain the items. Unfortunately, players in the US and other regions are unable to create accounts to generate the required codes.
What's more, the promotion requires a smartphone. Attempting to access the Pringles website on a PC gives users a QR code that must be scanned on a mobile device to enter the promo, create an account and receive the codes they need.

That said, all hope is not lost for fans who don't meet these requirements. While the Pringles account creation area is locked, the codes themselves are not. Although it is not clear if Fallout 76 Items work the same way, as it is distributed through Steam, codes World of Warcraft, Sea of Thievesand The outside world 2 All can be redeemed on Battle.net in any region. This means EU/UK players with international friends can generate and transfer additional codes using additional email accounts. Alternatively, gamers have reported that using a VPN has allowed them to successfully create a Pringles account and generate the codes themselves without any problems.
Regardless, there is no rush for players to complete these steps. They have until May 5th to claim and redeem the codes, but the items aren't actually being delivered until after that. It's unclear when these items will arrive, but the website says they'll be available between June 1st and July 5th, so it's likely the items will be delivered around then. It is also not clear what these items look like now: for the crimson bow tie wow Also not available for datamine from World of Warcraft: Midnight Beta, so fans don't know what they're actually getting right now. That said, free stuff is free stuff, and with no purchase required, it can't hurt to try and get codes for any of the games they play.
