Enfolding don body armor
- Signature Effects: +100 soul
This unique chest piece is the perfect item to use for Minion builds or any other build that uses a large amount of soul. Its main attraction is the large amount of souls it provides, allowing players to summon huge armies or use multiple herald skills at the same time. However, this disables the inherent effect you get from the Intelligence stat; with
The Enfolding Dawn Equipped, you gain no bonus mana for each point of Intelligence you have.

- Signature Effects: Up to 500% bonus armor and 30% increased strength
Titanrot Cataphract For players who want to build characters based on strength PoE 2. This gives you a huge boost to your armor, letting you block physical attacks. The downside of this armor is that it will reduce your intelligence and dexterity by 10%, and it will also prevent passive life regeneration.
The grip of winter gloves
- Signature Effects: Increases freeze buildup, chill magnitude, and cold resistance while granting bonus cold damage to attacks.
The grip of winter A pair of unique gloves perfect for cold-based attack skills like Ice Strike and Lunar Assault. This helps freeze enemies quickly while adding some extra cold damage on top of your attacks, making it great for any non-spell build. Be mindful of your defenses when using this, however, as despite providing up to 30% cold resistance, Grip of Winter only provides a small amount of stealth.
Wings of Caelyn's helmet
- Signature Effects: Melee grants 1 Rage hit, and you gain a bonus 1% stun threshold per Rage.
Caelyn's wings Provides a balance of offense and defense. Not only does this give you 1 rage on a Melee hit, but it also increases your stun thresholdPreventing you from being stunned when swarmed by enemies. Each point of rage increases the damage you deal with attacks, making this a great choice if your character has no other way to generate rage. Thankfully, Kaelin's wings have no negative weaknesses other than having low base armor.
Bright mourning helmet
- Signature Effects: Enemies in your presence are ignited as if dealing 100 base fire damage
Just wearing it
Bright griefAll enemies near you are engulfed in flames. The Ignite effect is decent on its own, but the most important thing here is that it lets you coordinate with effects that enemies need to ignite, such as
Blackgleam Fire Quiver.
Thrillsteel helmet
- Signature Effects: Get attacked
Thrillsteel There's a job: it makes you faster. Attack is an effect that grants you 20% skill speed and 10% movement speed, and while it usually lasts for 4 seconds, Thrillsteel gives you this effect forever. This helmet won't protect you much, but you can always compensate for it through other means.
The best unique weapon for leveling in PoE 2
As mentioned above, most unique weapons are overshadowed by well-rolled rares. However, some are enough to carry players through to the beginning of Act 4 or the beginning of the initial mapping phase, while others have special interactions that make them worth using all the way to the end.
Raptor Raptor Crossbow
- Signature Effects: Consume any ammo for a short period of time after reloading
The Rampart Raptor is a crossbow capable of giving players virtually unlimited ammo. Its damage wears off very quickly, however This enables a special interaction with the Riven debuff from High Velocity Rounds.
The Riven debuff deals 5% damage each time enemies are attacked with high velocity rounds. With the Rampart Raptor, players can hit enemies with a barrage of shotgun-style crossbow skills like Galvanic Shards and Fragmentation Rounds, causing enemies to take damage from the Riven debuff very quickly. This interaction also lets players take down end game bosses using a level 1 Rampart Raptor.
Shyaba Mandir Maul
- Signature Effects: high attack speed; Never misses
The Shyaba is a two-handed mace that solves one of the biggest gripes most players have with the weapon class: its slow attack speed. This weapon makes leveling with a warrior (or any 2H mes build) feel remarkably quick and easy, especially using rolling slam or basic mes strike skills. Shyaba has a higher dexterity requirement than most 2H Maces, though, and is only usable from level 28 and up, so plan accordingly.
Tidebreaker Pointed Maul
- Signature Effects: All damage from this weapon contributes to the chill magnitude; Stun buildup increased by up to 200%
While the Tidebreaker increases the chill magnitude greatly, its real value as a level 45 weapon is its stunning stat package. It outperforms most other 2H meses in its tier range, and if used with the right build it can comfortably carry players from Act 3 to T3-T5 maps.
Widowmaker Bow
- Signature Effects: Up to 250% increased bonus received from Quivers
Despite being a crude bow that does 6-9 damage, Widowhell is a surprisingly strong option until late Act 2, if you can use it with a good quiver. It pairs well with things like Asphyxia's Wrath or The Lethal Draw, but don't expect its usefulness to last too long.
Death's Harp Bow
- Signature Effects: Bow attack fires 3 extra arrows; Chance to fire more arrows
In most cases, Death's Harp ends up being a Widowhell replacement during the leveling process for Rangers and other Bow users. The extra 3 arrows it fires greatly increases your offensive capabilities, especially when used with good quivers. Pair it with a skill like Gas Arrow and go crazy with all the explosions you can make.
Pillar of the Caged God Quarter Staff
- Signature Effects: Gain bonus stats based on your strength, dexterity and intelligence
Pillar of the Caged God deals pitiful damage by default, but becomes very powerful once you start stacking your three main stats. This weapon gains the following bonuses for every 10 points in the following stats:
-
Strength: 10% increased weapon damage
-
Dexterity: 1% attack speed increased
-
Intelligence: Increased area of effect for attack by 1%
Use this weapon with any other piece of gear that boosts your stats and runes that deal bonus damage, and you're good to go.
Earthbound Voltaic staff
- Signature Effects: Killing stunned enemies triggers a spark
If you're playing a Lightning Spellcaster build, Earthbound will probably be the best weapon you can use during leveling. As long as you keep hitting stunned enemies, you'll fill the screen with sparks, which will continue to shock and cause shocked enemies to create more sparks. This interaction is going to drain your mana quite a bit, though, so consider using some Eternal gaze to compensate.
