Lego Fans have plenty to look forward to throughout 2026 Spider-Man 3-New themed LEGO models Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter material. On the gaming front, LEGO is looking to continue its collaboration with its partner Nintendo for some new sets. One of these sets will focus on the iconic video game villain Ganondorf, with a massive 1,000+ piece set set to translate him. Ocarina of Time Design in Lego form. Then, there is the new Mario Kart The set is reportedly in the works, and it sees the plumber's beloved brother Luigi receive a dedicated package that brings the character, his cart, and a matching accessory to his collection of players. As great as all of this might be though, I was hoping for something more Animal Crossing.
After bathing in Lego, it might seem a little greedy Animal Crossing Set in 2025, but what can I say? I love the franchise, and it translates so well into LEGO form that the sets can go on for years before they run dry. As far as 2026 is concerned, they've all been confirmed to be single polybags, so it's hard not to be a little jealous of something like the ambitious Ganondorf set. Having something comparable to Julian's minifigure and matching painting set would be cute and all, but that should only be the tip of the iceberg. Maybe LEGO will surprise us with some complete sets, but with no rumors about them, I'm ready to be disappointed. I have no shortage of ideas as to what the sets should be.
LEGO Animal Crossing sets that still need to be had
So far, there are 15 proper LEGOs Animal Crossing sets, which:
- Julian's birthday party (Julian with hat)
- Bunny's outdoor activities (rabbit)
- Kapp'n Island Boat Tour (Kappan and Marshall)
- Visit Isabel's house (Isabel and the Beasts)
- Nook's Cranny and Rosie's House (Tom Nook and Rosie)
- Maple's Pumpkin Orchard (maple)
- Fly with Dodo Airlines (Wilbur and Tangy)
- KK's concert at the Plaza (KK Slider, Isabelle with the red dress, and Audie)
- Stargazing with Celeste (celeste)
- Leif's Caravan and Garden Shop (Leaf and Poppy)
- Capable Sisters Clothing Shop (Mabel and Sasha)
- Blather's Museum Collection (Blathers and Lily)
- Creative Homes: Pleasant Seasons (Stitches, Fuschia, and Fang)
- Goldie's cozy home (goldie)
- Julian Beach Painting (Julian)
Don't get me wrong, this is a solid lineup, and it will be a while before LEGO Zelda Sets hold Animal Crossing In terms of quantity. Still, the Animal Crossing The franchise is full of memorable characters and locales that still deserve to be represented through a set. One NPC that immediately jumps out at me is Pascal, an adorable scallop collecting otter. I remember logging in every day for the first month after the diving update to find him a scallop, trying to collect DIYs. His sense of humor stuck with me, as did his charming animations, and I'd argue he's one of the best candidates for the set. Perhaps it could include an island pier and some fake water, while the accompanying villager could be one of the octopus characters like Zucker or Marina.
Aside from the Pascal set, I'd like to gather Brewster's Cafe, which can be filled with beautiful decor and an energetic, coffee-loving village like Dome. Flick and CJ are a dynamic duo Animal Crossing The community loves it, so why not have a great set combining fishing and bug-catching activities? A holdable net and rod can be part of the set along with some fish and bugs as decorations. Yet another long-running set stars Red, the creepy salesman known for his fake paintings and (sometimes) surreal decorations. Along with Red and his boat is a smart-looking villager trying to see through his lies—perhaps Raymond, The New Horizons Can create new-attractive packages that spawn the black market. Finally, there's perhaps the most iconic NPC yet to require a Lego set: Gulliver. It can focus on digging, with a shovel accessory and beach flooring, while Gulliver would make a worthy second minifigure.
These five ideas would make similar sized sets exist right now, but I'd like to see Nintendo shake it up a bit. Animal Crossing builds. Something bigger, on the scale of the Great Deku Tree, would be really nice as a collector's item. What can work for a giant Animal Crossing Set, what about a giant gyroidt like Lloyd that players build brick-by-brick? Building a gyroid-filled island would also be interesting, and a nice change from the usual approach of a small-medium set with an NPC and possibly a villager. Yes, Lego's Animal Crossing The collab has been great, but my favorite characters still need sets, so I'm really hoping the next wave comes to fruition.
Polybags shouldn't be the end all, but they can be a boon to Lego Animal Crossing
To be clear, LEGO polybags can be fun, quick builds that can provide access to special mini-figures. My concern with the 2026 polybag is that it is the only “set” that seems to be planned for this year, but worse, it could be a repeat of the Julian situation. instead of last Animal Crossing Polybag brings players a whole new village to collect, they get another version of Julian without the birthday hat and a slightly different outfit. This was a huge waste of potential, and I worry that the next polybag will be a similar case – a new prop and a reskinned, as opposed to an existing minifigure special.
Actually, there are literally hundreds Animal Crossing Villagers, it is impossible for everyone to get a dedicated set. A polybag could save the day, with LEGO and Nintendo expanding their partnership to release dozens of their most popular characters via polybags. Many characters would suit this style, such as my favorite villager, the derpy penguin Roald. As a joker, he can set the weight to represent his personality, although characters can also have accessories that highlight their looks. Judy can come with a colorful pastel swingset, Cherie can come with a gothic table and matching chairs, and just a few possible polybag packages representing Lucky's many injuries. Hopefully, at least one polybag is planned for this year instead of another recycled design, but I'm not holding my breath.
Hopefully, LEGO and Nintendo will keep the ball rolling Animal Crossing Instead of closing with a single polybag in 2026. The collaboration has certainly been a good one that produced some truly fascinating sets, but the beloved cozy game still has a long way to go. And even if full sets are going to be a thing of the past, releasing several — not one — polybags with unique mini-figures that aren't part of existing sets would be a great way to keep LEGO going. Animal Crossing Fans like me are satisfied. While I can admit that we've been spoiled so far, and it's time for other properties Zelda Now there's still plenty of room for new ones to shine in the LEGO spotlight Animal Crossing leaves down the road.
