Developer Embark Studios has released a brand new update for its hit third-person evacuation shooter, ARC Raiders. The latest patch is available to download now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with some critical bug fixes and balance adjustments to some keys. ARC Raiders Weapons and items. After weeks of waiting, the 1.11.0 update finally removes the controversial Trigger Ned, which has been dominating any PvP encounters over the Christmas period.
The latest update has been highly anticipated due to the balance adjustments included, fans are also patiently waiting for the next tease. ARC Raiders Skin, which is now available as part of the Abyss Cosmetic Set. The entire bundle can be purchased for 1,600 Raider Tokens and comes with a new skin, which can be seen in the image above, a new emote, and several other cosmetic items. This particular outfit has caught the attention of players before ARC Raiders was also released, the pre-release trailer gave fans a glimpse at the skin. Fans then waited for nearly three months with no word on when the organization would enter the game. But with the 1.11.0 update now live on all platforms, the Abyss Bundle is finally available through the in-game store.
ARC Raiders players have found an even wilder way to cheat
In another example of game theory in action, some cheaters find a good way to gain an unfair advantage in ARC Raiders.
ARC Riders have finally pulled the trigger on Ned
Apart from a highly anticipated new cosmetic set, the latest ARC Raiders The update also makes some big balance adjustments. According to the official patch notes, which can be found further on in this article, Embark Studio has rebalanced the falloff of item damage to focus damage closer to the center of the explosion and to keep less damage further away. The studio increased the delay time between triggering a grenade and its explosion from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, which should give players more time to react and can make it harder to time the explosion while it's in the air. With this nerf, Embark hopes to make the Trigger Ned less usable as a “trigger-in-air” grenade and more in line with its original intent.
One of the other major changes in the update is the reduction in fire rate on Kettle, one of the most popular weapons. ARC Raiders. As players began using macros to fire weapons at a much faster rate than was humanly possible, the weapon quickly dominated lobbies, with many fans calling for Embark to fix the problem. Now, in update 1.11.0, Embark has reduced the weapon's fire rate from 600 to 450. The studio notes how its previous fire rate was only achievable by players who actually used macros, which created an unfair dynamic in favor of using third-party software.
One weapon that hasn't been touched, however, is the stitcher. Despite being one of the most common weapons in the game, some have found that it can beat many rarer weapons in the same category, such as the Bobcat. While Embark previously said it was exploring new balance adjustments for Stitcher Inn ARC RaidersThere doesn't seem to be any changes to weapons in today's update. Fans have also been left disappointed by the minimal number of bug fixes in patch 1.11.0, as there are still many issues with the game, such as players running out of bounds on Stella Montis, broken voice chat, and the infamous buy-reset bug.
Today's update also saw the end of the Cold Snap and Flickering Flames event, both of which started last month in the last update of 2025. The event introduced a new map modifier known as Cold Snap, which blanketed the map in snow and forced players to take shelter or risk the blistering conditions outside. Rumors suggest that a new Poison Swamp map modifier will be released as part of a new update next week, but that has yet to be confirmed by Embark Studios at the time of writing.

Trigger 'Nade

Dev Note: The Trigger 'Nade currently dominates PVP encounters, and players love to pick it over all of our other grenades. This nerf aims to make it less usable as a “trigger-in-air” grenade, while retaining its usefulness as a sticky bomb. Damage fallout has been rebalanced to focus damage closer to the center of the explosion and place less damage further away. The delay between triggering and detonating a grenade has been increased from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, giving players more time to react, and making it harder to time detonation in the air.
