This post contains spoilers for Naruto.
Masashi Kishimoto is revered as one of the greatest manga writers of all time, and why wouldn't he be? After all, He is the Creator NarutoA manga that has sold over 100 million copies. Educated people Naruto Know that Kishimoto deserves a lot of praise for his efforts.
Naruto: Kishimoto expresses great concern about Boruto
Kishimoto is somewhat worried about Boruto, the sequel to Naruto.
In fact, people still sing his praises even though the manga ended almost a decade ago. Kishimoto has strived to create a story that will always be remembered, and it's safe to say that he has accomplished his goal. However, the author made a few mistakes along the way—some more damaging than the rest.
Kishimoto almost forgot about Naruto's goal of becoming Hokage

Kishimoto insulted Naruto by making him absent from the ceremony

As the story ends, insight into Naruto's reign as Hokage would have been a good choice.
Since the beginning of the series, Naruto Uzumaki's goal has been to become Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. He fought hordes of dangerous opponents to save the village from destruction. When fighting didn't work, Naruto tried using his words to get the message across. While some fans may scoff at it, there's no denying its success.
And my future dream is to be the greatest Hokage!
Defeating one enemy after another, Naruto finally reached the point where his path was clear, and no one stood in his way. All that was left for Naruto was to become Hokage and fulfill his lifelong dream. Unfortunately, that's when Kishimoto dropped the ball and ruined Naruto's greatest moment. After the conclusion of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kakashi Hatake was named the Sixth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, an understandable choice since Naruto was still young. So fans were hoping that Naruto's big moment would come before the end of the story and make the hero immortal.
Naruto's big day Hokage was ruined
When the day finally came for Naruto to be officially named the Seventh Hokage, Kishimoto made the biggest mistake of his life. For some inexplicable reason, Kishimoto thought it would be better if Naruto missed his own ceremony. So, the author had Himawari knock out her father, incapacitating her for hours.
To make matters worse Konohamaru had to use a transformation jutsu on Naruto. There was no reason Kishimoto had to do this to Naruto, especially since the hero had been waiting for that moment all his life. Naruto is a funny character, but the writing is poor on Kishimoto's part to shoehorn comedy at such a pivotal time in the story.
Kishimoto did not cover Naruto's reign as Hokage
If ruining Naruto's ceremony wasn't enough, Kishimoto decided to give fans absolutely zero insight into the hero's reign as the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. Despite years of blood and sweat, fans never got a glimpse of how Naruto managed the village and brought peace to the entire world. Before Naruto, the entire ninja world was chaotic, and the villages were constantly trying to cause problems for each other. It would have been a good idea to release some extra chapters to show how Naruto dealt with the problem.
Unfortunately, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations wasn't the solution either. Since the manga focused on the new generation of ninja, Naruto was left out of the discussion. Just a few arcs into the manga, Naruto is removed from his position as Hokage. He was sealed away and kept away from the spotlight. While Kishimoto isn't fully involved in the Boruto manga, there's no denying that he has a certain degree of influence. So, he can guide Ikemoto in the right direction.
Naruto needs to make a comeback on Boruto
As previously stated, Naruto Uzumaki is currently not involved in the story, but that needs to change soon. Manga sales are declining, and there is no interest in anime either. Longtime Naruto fans dislike the Boruto manga, as it misrepresents their beloved hero and many other characters from the old era. The anime adaptation in particular is weak and has been rebuked by audiences several times.
Apart from a few good episodes, Studio Pierrot mainly released filler material that had no significance. While the anime won't be fixed anytime soon, Ikemoto and Kishimoto can fix the manga. They may bring back Naruto and other characters, which is bound to increase fans' interest in the story. Unfortunately, there has been no update on the return of Naruto and Sasuke, but hopefully, that will change in the coming months.
