One of the best parts about Dragon Ball Super The main characters have all received their own unique transformations. After Goku unlocks Ultra Instinct in the Tournament of Power, Gohan and Piccolo have also managed to gain their own individual forms to keep pace with the franchise's ever-increasing power scaling. As of Granolah Saga, Vegeta has unlocked his own transformation to put him on par with Ultra Instinct Goku: Ultra Ego.

Orange Piccolo has a real chance of defeating Ultra Ego Vegeta
Dragon Ball Works on a very simple logic: the latest power-up is always stronger. Akira Toriyama confirmed that it was one of his main goals behind writing Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Piccolo was to be made strong enough to take on Goku and Vegeta again, hence the introduction of Orange Piccolo at the film's climax. Piccolo comments that he is unsure if Goku and Vegeta will be able to defeat Cell Max by themselves (although Piccolo has not seen Ultra Ego Vegeta in action).
While all signs point to Ultra Ego Vegeta being stronger than Orange Piccolo as far as power levels are concerned, Piccolo may actually be stronger. This isn't the first time Piccolo surpasses Vegeta, as he is stronger at the end of the Frieza Saga and in the middle of the Cell Saga. Piccolo is also a smarter fighter than Vegeta, so he could theoretically push Vegeta to exhaustion without losing Ultra Ego.

The Ultra Ego Vegeta was not strong enough to eliminate the gas itself
Thanks to Elek's desire for the Dragon Balls, his brother Gas temporarily became the strongest character. Dragon Ball the universe. Goku and Granolah only defeat him by fighting as strategically as possible, but even then, Gas is stronger than ever and is only put to good use when Black Frieza appears and kills him effortlessly. Granolah Just Barely manages to defeat Ultra Ego Vegeta
Granola Saga is the L after the L for veggies. Despite unlocking a new transformation in the arc, Ultra Ego Vegeta cannot win a single battle. During their fight, Granolah is portrayed as a clear foil to Ultra Ego Vegeta. Where Vegeta fights raw with ferocity, Granolah remains precise and strategic, slowly wearing down Vegeta. Even worse, Ultra Ego Vegeta forces Granolah to awaken and develop his left eye to full power, making him even more deadly. In the end, Granolah is able to subdue Granolah before the battle escalates into a final showdown with Gas.

Ultra Ego Vegeta got nothing on Gohan Beast
Gohan Beast is currently the strongest unfused hero Dragon Ball Super. After Piccolo's fake death Dragon Ball Super: Super HeroGohan unleashes all of his latent potential in his brand new beast form. From there, Gohan Beast kills Cell Max and then goes to Beerus' planet to escape with Goku. Notably, Gohan Beast is so strong, he actually knocks Goku out of Ultra Instinct during their fight, confirming him as the strongest Saiyan in the series.

Dragon Ball Super's main characters are stronger than ever, and each has a powerful transformation that will be key to stopping Black Frieza.
While Ultra Ego is stronger than Ultra Instinct, there is no way that Vegeta will be able to defeat Gohan Beast as he is now. Gohan is just as brutal as Beast Ultra Ego, but without any of the weaknesses tied to the form. At the end of the Saiyan Battle Royale Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103 quietly confirms Gohan as a strong character. Aside from Broly, Gohan is the only character that is shown standing up and taking the least amount of damage, while Vegeta is clearly out for the count.

Black Frieza defeated Ultra Ego Vegeta with a single hit
Although Gohan Beast might be the strongest hero Dragon Ball SuperBlack Frieza is the strongest mortal. After discovering an abandoned hyperbolic time chamber while exploring the multiverse, Frieza trained himself in hiding for years until he unlocked his black form. Since Frieza was outside of Universe 7 at the time, this meant that Granolah and Gas' desire to become the most powerful being in the universe didn't even take into account Frieza.
When Black Frieza suddenly appears at the end of the Granolah Saga, he kills Gas like he's nothing and then takes out Ultra Ego Vegeta and Ultra Instinct Goku in one strike. Frieza only lets them live because they are much weaker than him. The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero The manga adaptation confirms that Goku and Vegeta are still training to defeat Black Frieza, but they need to get much stronger before they can stand a chance.

Vegeta still has a long way to go before he reaches Beerus' level
In many ways, Ultra Ego is Vegeta's homage to Beerus. The Granolah Saga begins with Beerus giving Vegeta the God of Destruction and ends with Vegeta unlocking a form that greatly stems from his training with Beerus. Ultra Ego is the exact opposite of Ultra Instinct. While Ultra Instinct is a technique developed by Angels for Angels, Ultra Ego is a technique developed by the God of Destruction for the specific goal of destruction.
Unfortunately, even super ego isn't enough to keep Vegeta at Beerus' level. Beerus is still the strongest god of destruction Dragon Ball SuperAnd anytime Vegeta or Goku make enough progress, it's revealed to be Beerus still one step ahead. It's unlikely that Vegeta will be able to surpass Beerus at this rate, but Ultra Ego at least levels the playing field.

Vegito is tied with Gogeta as the strongest Suepr Saiyan and character in Dragon Ball
It is argued that a character with half a vegetable is stronger than a vegetable. Vegito and Gogeta are both fusions of Goku and Vegeta, combining all their powers and abilities into one supremely powerful fused fighter. Vegito is the result of Goku and Vegeta's fusion with Potara earrings, and was the strongest character in the former. Dragon Ball Z. Vegito was last seen in the Goku Black Saga, where he came very close to defeating a fused Zamasu before the fusion stopped due to Vegito's raw power.
Vegito is an interesting case. He is so powerful, Potara Jhumka can only match Goku and Vegeta for a few minutes, especially when Vegeta is Super Saiyan Blue. That said, Vegito is so powerful, he can take on Ultra Ego Vegeta as a regular Super Saiyan. The same goes for Gogeta, Goku and Vegeta's Fusion Dance variant fusing together.
