Pokemon GO Reveals Carnival of Flamigo Event Details

Pokemon Go Carnival of Flamigo has announced the program, which will add Flamigo to the mobile augmented reality game. This event will continue the trend of adding Gen 9 creatures Pokemon GoAnd fans won't have to wait long before they can collect Flamigo for themselves.

Recent Pokemon Go leaks are suggesting that a new currency is coming to the mobile game soon, specifically linked to Mega Raid.

A new event for February 2026 adds Flamigo to Pokemon GO

With February on the horizon, Scopely has revealed Flamego's Carnival. This event will help start the month running from Tuesday, February 3, 10:00 am to Sunday, February 8, 2026, 8:00 pm local time. As the name suggests, it stars Flamigo, the Synchronized Pokemon. This will be the debut of the Gen 9 critter Pokemon Go And can be encountered in the wild after the event begins. Additionally, some other possible wild encounters during Flamigo's Carnival include Lotad, Buneri, Pikipek, and Spritzy.

As far as event bonuses go, players will have increased chances of encountering Shiny Lotad, Shiny Spritzy and Shiny Pickypack. There will also be a number of other bonuses to take advantage of during Flamigo's Carnival, including 2× Incense and the Daily Adventure Incense duration, making certain Pokemon even easier to catch. Furthermore, players will be awarded 500 more Stardust when they catch Flamego.

On top of these activities, Flamigo's Carnival will have free and paid time research available for a limited time. Some of the rewards for free timed research include two Incense, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Players can spend $4.99 to access event-specific paid time research. Rewards for this include a star piece, event-themed avatar poses, encounters with event-themed Pokemon, and more. It is worth noting that prizes earned by completing both versions of Timed Research must be claimed by Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 8:00 PM local time.

This upcoming event suggests that Scopely plans to keep adding new Pokemon to mobile. In fact, the developer is hosting another one Pokemon Go An event in late January will add Glimmet, yet another Gen 9 critter to the roster. The event, known as Into the Depths, will begin on January 27 at 10:00 am and run until February 1 at 8:00 pm local time.

It will be interesting to see what other Pokemon make their way into the game in the coming months. More Pokemon from the Paldea region may appear.
