Dragon Ball: 7 Strongest Human Techniques

Human characters in Dragon Ball I've seen their roles change over the course of the series. Initially serving as Goku's allies, rivals, and mentors, humans have taken a back seat to Saiyans, Namekians, and other types of stronger characters. But that doesn't make the main cast of human characters any less impressive.

In a world where Mr. Satan is viewed by the public as the pinnacle of martial arts prowess, Dragon Ball The main cast of men is a rarity. They are strong enough to fly, break things that can't do much, and block energy beams. They may not be able to keep up with the series' insane powerscaling, but that doesn't make them any less impressive.

Dragon Ball: Goku's 8 strongest Kamehameha, ranked

Goku has used various Kamehamehas over the years, but these are the strongest.

Yamcha – Super Spirit Ball

Super_Spirit_Ball

Yamacha may be a meme at this point, but he's still the strongest man in the series. While he was irrelevant over the years, there was a time when Yamcha could at least contribute.

Among all his techniques, his strongest is his soul force. Wolf Fang Fist may be the most memorable, but Spirit Ball is one of Yamcha's truly impressive original techniques that allows him to create and control an energy field with his thumb and middle fingers. Unfortunately, he hasn't had a chance to use it much, but it's still a solid move.

Chiaotzu – Super Dodan Blast

Super Dodan Blast

Chiaotzu hasn't really done much in the series outside of being Tien's sidekick. He occasionally contributes, such as fighting Krillin in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament, or sacrificing himself (sadly in vain) to try to take out Nappa when he and Vegeta attack, but his impact is minimal. Still, compared to most people, Chiaotzu is a cut above.

Although Chiaotzu mostly stands out for his telekinetic abilities, he also makes excellent use of the Crane School's signature Dodon Ray technique. The Super Dodan Blast is a much stronger version of the original that Chiaotzu uses against Krillin at the behest of his former master.

Master Roshi – The Great Kamehameha

The greatest Kamehameha

Roshi's flexibility can make you forget how powerful he really is. He is a martial arts master who took Goku, Krillin, Yamcha and others under his wing, teaching them what he knew, as well as being one of the legendary master Mutaito's most famous students.

The Kamehameha is Roshi's own move, but Goku has made it his own, greatly improving on the original with all sorts of incredible variations. Roshi had long been relegated to the audience before Poway's tournament allowed him to contribute again. During the tournament, Roshi introduced his Greatest Kamehameha, a much stronger version of the MAX Power Kamehameha Roshi used in the original series.

Tien – Neo Tri-Beam

    Neo tri-beam technology

Tien seemed to play a bigger role in the story after turning from Shen's puppet and lapdog to Goku's ally. While he takes a backseat to characters like Piccolo and Vegeta, he is still recognized as one of the strongest pure humans in the series.

An improved version of Tien's Tri-Beam, the Neo Tri-Beam helped stop the nearly-semi-perfect Cell when he was trying to absorb Android 18. Tien nearly died using all of his energy to continuously blast the bio-android, and while it wasn't enough to destroy Cell, it did enough to stop him.

Krillin – Destructo Disc Triple Blade

Destructo Disc Triple Blade

Krillin is another character that fans claim is the strongest pure human. Although many ignore him due to his size and sometimes goofy personality, Krillin is truly one of the strongest Earthlings around. And while he's great with Kamehameha, his Destructo Disc has a lot of potential.

A stronger variation of the technique, the Destructo Disc Triple Blade is essentially a barrage of discs that Krillin can use to defeat his enemies. The regular Destructo Disc has a notoriously low success rate, but it's great at dodging enemies and forcing them to throw. This variant is even better at that, giving Krillin a better chance of both dealing real damage and forcing his enemies to move out of his way.

Android 18 – Power Blitz

PowerBlitz1

Although Dr. Thanks to Gero being part machine, Android 17 and 18 are still mostly human. They have recently been enhanced, making them stronger than pure humans in the series. Android 18 is an incredibly skilled fighter, and although it can be easy to underestimate him, he can quickly turn things around in a fight.

Both 17 and 18 use the Power Blitz technique throughout the series, but this is a trick used by the latter. This is essentially their strongest energy wave attack, and both have different variations that they mix as well.

Android 17 – Grand Explode

A grand explosion

Android 17 was definitely the MVP of the Tournament of Power. 17 may not have been seen as Team Universe 7's strongest asset, but his flexibility and awareness paid off big time.

The devastating combo used against Jiren in the Grand Explode Tournament is 17. He rushes her first, confronting the Pride Trooper with all his might, then surrounds them both in his android barrier and charges a massive Ki Blast, injuring both himself and Jiren in the process. This move was enough to shake Jiren, showing that he is no longer thought of as a top fighter, 17 still has what it takes to fight well.
