a piece The Elbaf arc has been absolutely incredible. Not only is it action-packed, it also contains important revelations related to the story. So far, Eiichiro Oda has written about 50 chapters for the Elbaf arc, and each one is amazing. So, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Oda has been saving the best of late. While the Elbaf arc still continues, a lot a piece It looks like readers have already made up their minds about the biggest highlight, and it's none other than Prince Loki. From his first appearance, it seemed that Loki would be an important cog in the story, and over time, it has become more clear. Considering where the story is at that point, it's possible that Loki could be the key to Luffy's dream as well.

Loki could change the course of history

Loki's name was originally mentioned hundreds of chapters before the Elbaf arc began. It was during the Whole Cake Island arc that Big Mom mentioned Loki. It was revealed that the Great Mother wanted to form an alliance with the giants of Elbaf, and the easiest way was through marriage. However, Lola ran away from home, so the wedding never happened, and Big Mom's dream of conquering the world took a hit. Additionally, this caused further rifts between the Big Mother and the people of Elbaf, as she was responsible for widespread destruction on the island.

While fans were familiar with Loki's name, they didn't know what he looked like, but that changed in the Elbaf arc. From his appearance alone, Loki seemed like an interesting character. This was reinforced when Loki was attacked by the figureland Shamrock, who wanted to force him to join the Holy Knights. However, Loki refuses to do so, resulting in Shamrock attacking the prince. After hurting him enough, Shamrock left him for dead.

Before Luffy's group met Loki, they were told how he was the cursed prince, who was responsible for killing Harald. Hazruddin, in particular, was terrified of Loki, and could not forgive him for killing his father. However, the group gave Loki a chance to share the truth of what happened that fateful day.

Before revealing the details of Harald's death, Loki shares the story of his birth and how his own mother scolded him. She considered him a monster and stayed away from him. Loki's only source of maternal love was Ida, Harald's true love. Ida didn't care about Loki's presence in the least, because she only saw a child who needed affection. Being abused by his own mother, Loki never fully opens up, but that doesn't stop Ida from trying.

Her persistent efforts won Loki's heart, and he felt true affection for the first time. Years later, when Ida is poisoned by some bad guys, Loki burns down the entire village, which shows how much he means to her. Besides Ida, Harald was the only other person in Elbaf who truly loved Loki. Naturally, Loki cared for his father and would do anything to protect him.

Loki stopped Elbaf from falling into Emu's hands

However, things took a shocking turn when Harald returned with a depth contract from Marijoa. At the time, Harald did not know that the covenant was a means used by the emu to gain control over the human body. Upon arriving at Orest Castle, Emu orders the herald to open the Abyss so they can turn the monsters into warriors. The latter was confused by Emu's behavior as he was led to believe that Elbaf's future would be free of any bloodshed.

Harald tried to resist Emu's orders, but there was little he could do. So, he immediately called his sons, but only Loki came while Hazrudin was away. The prince accompanied Jarul to the king's place. Upon reaching the location, the herald orders Loki to eat Elbaf's legendary devil fruit and kill him. The King of Elbaf knew that the Devil Fruit would be able to stop him, so he told Loki to hurry.

Loki was horrified, but he had no other choice. So he went to the room where the devil fruit was kept. After dealing with Ragnir, Loki ate the Devil Fruit and returned to his father's place. Loki and Harald saw each other for the last time before the former used his newly acquired powers to end the King's suffering. It was a shocking moment for Loki as he had to kill his own father. Tears were streaming down his face, but there was nothing else he could do.

Before dying, Harald ordered Loki and Zarul to tell everyone what had happened in the room. However, Loki refused to drag his father's reputation into the mud. Instead, he chose to be branded as a murderer. After learning the truth, Hazrudin apologizes to Loki. However, they knew that time was running short, and Elbaf needed to be saved.

Loki will join the Straw Hat Pirates

Chances are high that Loki will go with Luffy

A straw hat will become one piece unbeatable

  • Joining Loki Straw Hat would be very beneficial

  • He can take the team to new heights

Along with Loki, Luffy and the rest of the heroes have a very good chance of defeating the Holy Knights and Emu. Loki and Gaban have the necessary experience, as they have dealt with holy knights in the past, which is invaluable in the current situation. Once the enemies are dealt with, Loki will have to make an important decision – whether to stay in Elbaf or travel with the Straw Hat Pirates.

The people of Elbaf don't like Loki because of his no-nonsense personality, and while his name will no doubt be blank, it would be surprising if the prince had a change of heart. Even if Loki rejects Luffy's initial offer, Loki has a much better chance of joining the Straw Hats than staying in Elbaf.

Shut your mouth, Pipsqueak!! Why should I be a dog for you?—Loki

Not only is Loki an integral part of the story, but he's also a dangerously powerful character. From here on out, the Straw Hats will face enemies that are on the same level as the Holy Knights, if not stronger. Currently, only Luffy and Zoro have the means to deal with them, so Loki's addition would certainly be valuable in that regard. Naturally, the more fights the Straw Hats win, the closer they get to their goal. Obviously, this means Luffy will also be closer to one piece. So, Loki's insane power will help Luffy become the pirate king.

Of course, it all depends on Oda. The author is highly selective about who he allows to join the Straw Hats, which is understandable, since they are the center of attention. An average character who joins the crew has a long-lasting negative effect. But from what fans have seen so far, Loki is far from a minor character. He has an amazing backstory, personality, and unprecedented power. His entry will surely make fans happy.
