A KPop Demon Hunters Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal box set is going for over $100 on eBay after a listing went live and quickly sold out.
I don't need to tell you how big a deal kpop monster hunters are. Almost immediately after starting streaming last year, Demon Hunters gained a huge following and eventually became one of Netflix's biggest originals of all time, which it and Sony obviously didn't expect since the business was only just starting to pop up.
While Huntrix fans were out of luck if they wanted anything when the movie was originally released, you can't go anywhere now without seeing Rumi, Joey and Meera in some sort of production. The merchandise has now gone so far that some limited-edition cereal boxes are now being put up for sale on eBay with some wild prices.

I love Huntrix, but this is ridiculous
Earlier this week, it was announced that another KPop Demon Hunters collaboration is with General Mills, which will release two limited-edition cereal boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. One box is based on Huntrix with a “golden flavored surprise that hits like a chart-topping chorus” and the other is from Saza Boy, which contains an “unexpected mystery bite by bite”.
Fortnite's K-Pop Monster Hunter collab is great, but there's one big problem
Where are the K-pop monster hunter jam tracks?!
Despite the grain of it literally slapping characters on the front, the KPop Demon Hunters hype is so strong that pre-orders for the $19.99 box set quickly sold out on the official Cinnamon Toast Crunch website. At $20, I can't blame anyone for having fun, but that's not what most people are going to spend.
A quick look at eBay shows that fans lucky enough to have pre-ordered the set are immediately back to scalding and asking ridiculous prices for what is, I repeat, literally just cereal. One listing, viewed by 14 people in the last hour, is asking $120 for a box set.
That's the most expensive list I've ever seen, but it's not as generous as others. The lowest asking price I've seen on eBay so far is $65.99, which is still more than three times the pre-order cost. Other listings are asking for closer to $90, and I have no clue if any of these can be bought, they are Putting on the watch and watch list, so there are obviously some people willing to break the bank for Huntrix cereal.
