How to upgrade the Solar Sling with Ray of Light in God of War: Sons of Sparta
Approaching the sanctuary
To break through barriers with the Solar Sling, you first need to gain A ray of light Upgrade. To accomplish this, you must first obtain one Amar Jalkunda since Sacred monument in sanctuary.
Kratos and Deimos will lead the pair in search of their friend, Vasilis Port of Messenia. From there, players can choose to take a boat to the Isle of Aea or head up towards the Sanctuary. To get there, climb the scaffolding in the port town of Messenia Eurotas river area and continue left until you reach the sanctuary. - sun stone (R2) – Launch a stone projectile that embodies the sun's heat.
- A ray of light (L2 + Square) – Launch a projectile at the speed of light to pierce objects and enemies.
- solar storm (L2 + Triangle) – Unleash a barrage of solar projectiles to destroy enemies.
With the upgraded Solar Sling, Kratos can defeat his enemies with the power of the sun while reaching contractions previously unavailable to him. Other obstacles, such as thorn patches, can be cleared with an evergreen flame.
