Officially called “SpongeBob SquarePants – Performance Model,” the design perfectly captured the character's spirit and nailed his iconic shape. Among the highlights, the LEGO fan used a wide selection of bricks to create the undersea character's buck-toothed grin and big eyes. They also gave SpongeBob his iconic square pants, along with his striped socks and black shoes. Apart from mimicking the character's design, vixtop included several add-ons. Specifically, the set offered included a crusty crab cooking hat, a crabby patty, and a spatula. Furthermore, an alternate arm can be attached to hold the cooking utensil.

The project has already garnered 2,100 backers, with many fans seeing potential in the design.
