Hashirama's 7 Greatest Achievements, Ranked

Hashirama Senju was the first Hokage, and certainly one of the most famous ninja in the world. Known as the God of Shinobi, Hashirama changed the ninja world forever in his era and established a world order that continues to this day.

Throughout his ninja life, Hashirama accomplished many great things, and while his list of accomplishments is incredibly extensive, there are a handful of available ones that stand out from the rest.

Defeat Kakuzu

Hashirama Senju fought against Kakuzu, who later went on to join the Akatsuki at one point in the story. While this fight wasn't clearly shown to fans, what was clear was that Kakuzu was the only one who escaped alive. Beating someone like Kakuzu, who Kakashi struggled against, is certainly impressive. However, for a shinobi of Hashirama's ability, this had to be one of the easiest battles he had ever fought.

Still, the fact that Hashirama couldn't kill him means that the fight may have been a bit more testing than fans anticipated. This makes it one of his most impressive achievements.

Became the leader of the Senju clan

Hashirama became the leader of the Senju clan at a very young age. After fighting against the Uchiha on several occasions, Hashirama finally rose to the top and did so to establish an era of peace.

Hashirama, even when fighting against the Uchiha, doesn't particularly want to spill the blood of children. Regardless of your ideology, rising to the top through sheer force and perseverance is quite an achievement.

Kurama was subdued

In his fight against Madara Uchiha, Hashirama was actually up against two formidable foes. One of them was Madara himself, and the other was Kurama. It was a spectacular battle, and Hashirama actually took Kurama out pretty quickly.

After crossing Madara's Susanoo, Hashirama used his Wood Release power to subdue the Nine Tails And take it out of the Uchiha's control. This animal was later sealed inside his wife Mito Uzumaki. Taming a tailed beast as powerful as the Kurma is certainly a feat.

Madara defeated the Uchiha

Hashirama and Madara fought many battles and it's safe to say that they were all incredibly close. In their final battle, which is the most iconic of all, Hashirama finally emerged on top.

There wasn't much difference in terms of strength between the two, and Hashirama was the only one capable of striking Madara Because he didn't expect her to hit him back. Nevertheless, the winner of the battle was Hashirama, and it goes without saying.

Became the first Hokage

After the founding of Konoha, Hashirama became the first Hokage of the village. Becoming the first leader of this magnificent village is certainly a great achievement and because of this his name is written in the history books.

In reality, however, Hashirama becoming Hokage created all kinds of problems. Due to this, Madara and Hashirama had internal problems and the former also had a conflict with his friend the Uchiha. Eventually, this led to Madara abandoning the village and attacking it later in the line, leading to their final battle in the Valley of the End.

Hashirama Senju was responsible for the creation of KonohaAlong with Madara Uchiha and that in itself is a great achievement but an even greater achievement is that his creation of Konoha led to the existence of shinobi villages in various countries. They were all inspired by Konoha and the Land of Fire, and they built their villages after this model.

Of course, Hashirama's greatest achievement is the creation of Konohawhich is overall the most important village Naruto. Ever since Hashirama and Madara were children, they dreamed of creating a land of peace, where children would not have to fight to the death and shed blood. While this dream was once naive, the fact that they grew quite powerful actually made it possible for them to achieve it.

Eventually, after settling their differences, Hashirama and Madara join hands and form Konoha. The name of this village was chosen by Madara, but Hashirama only had the means. Knowing the importance of this village in the series, fans can easily see why this was the greatest achievement of his entire life.
