Say hello to Jujutsu Kaisen's new Gojo Satoru
Gojo died in JJK, but Gege created a new Gojo in Modulo.
but, Jujutsu Kaisen It's no stranger to characters somehow destroying even parts of Gege Akutami's masterpiece. They can either be villains, who make the story too complicated, or minor characters whose unnecessary activities add little to the story. Even Yuji Itadori's most powerful allies can ruin the overall JJK experience for fans.
Haruta Shigemo
-
Haruta Shigemo's tragic death at the hands of Ryomen Sukuna is one of the most satisfying character deaths in the entire series. Not only because Gaige removed Haruta from the series permanently, but because his sudden death did not allow fans to sympathize with him, as it came without meaning and redemption.
One of the reasons Haruta Shigemo ruined parts of the Shibuya Incident arc was his sadistic tendencies and cowardice at the same time. He did not use his fighting wits properly, letting fear and impulse dictate his actions and decisions. Worse, he appeared out of nowhere to make established characters like Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki look bad. He was a villain with no backstory, and his only motivation was personal gain or sadistic fun.

Yoshinobu Gakuganji
Jujutsu KaisenThe resident old man, Yoshinobu Gakuganji, is no stranger to backlash. Despite rocking a guitar as his accursed instrument which is supposed to make him look cooler than anyone else, fans are not impressed with his overall effectiveness or personality, as his attractive appearance doesn't make up for his minimal contribution in the main battles.
Worse, Gakuganji's hands aren't exactly clean. Not only did he wish for Yuji Itadori's execution, he also killed a lover Jujutsu Kaisen character despite his weak abilities. As a result, most fans burn with disgust when he appears, disappointed that such an unlikable character was given such devastating effect.
mei mei
Mei Mei is one of the most consistent characters Jujutsu KaisenMaking her predictable for most of the story. She serves as the opposite of Nanami Kento, acting as a foil for his kindness, compassion and sense of duty. Instead, she is profit-driven and pragmatic, putting herself above all others when the risk outweighs the potential reward.
This is one of the reasons why some fans could not accept his actions during the Shibuya Incident arc, although it was understandable that he bailed out. However, the biggest reason for so much hate towards Mei Mei is her close relationship with her brother that borders on inappropriate, making fans uncomfortable with the depiction of their closeness in the series.

Iri of the show
Shoko Iri carried a huge responsibility Jujutsu Kaisen As our heroes' primary doctor. She was helping Gojo Satoru and the rest of the Jujutsu High students when they needed medical attention to their best abilities. However, it wasn't good enough to be appreciated by his best fans.
Instead, Shoko received a lot of criticism for her incompetence. As someone who is supposed to be an expert healer, many fans believe that his Reverse Curse technique was mostly useless. Perhaps the final straw was Shoko's failure to bring Gozo to life, showing a disconnect between his supposed expertise and his actual impact on the story.
Naoya Genin
For someone with so much aura, Naoya Genin was supposed to dominate fights and earn the respect of the fans. However, Gege Akutami clearly established Naoya as a character designed to attract more hatred than admiration from the audience. After all, he comes across as arrogant and entitled, constantly looking down on others, including his own family members.
The worst part is that Naoya absolutely embodies misogyny, treating female magicians like Maki with blatant disrespect. He looked down on women at every turn. As a result, many fans cannot forgive him for his toxic masculinity, making him one of the most hated characters in the series.
Momo Nishimiya
Momo Nishimiya rarely gets screen time Jujutsu Kaisen After the Shibuya Incident arc, fans still continue to criticize Nobara for her feud with him and her failure to acknowledge Maki Genin's struggles at the Goodwill event. To them, Momo is so blinded by Mai's admiration that she fails to appreciate Maki's hard work, making her appear petty and dismissive.
In addition, while Momo has attractive abilities ideal for scouting and intelligence gathering, he was severely underutilized in the series, leaving him as a character of wasted potential whose skills could be a game changer. Because of this, some fans even want to trade for Nanami, showing how little they think of her.
Hana Kurusu
This list wouldn't be complete without Hana Kurusu, who despite her exposed abilities, has angered fans with her lack of incredible fights, her constant crush on Megumi Fushiguro, and her repeated failure to finish Tsukuna, not once but twice, using the Jacob's Ladder. She had the ability to finish the story, but she faltered painfully.
For this reason, fans frequently criticize her as a one-dimensional character whose only purpose was to trigger Gozo Satoru's re-entry into the battlefield. She served a single purpose and later ended up as a sideline character despite her immense abilities.
