In the last saga of a pieceShanks stands tall as one of the strongest characters. Introduced early on, fans have been waiting decades for Oda to shed some light on the red-haired Shanks' character. Finally, in the final section of the story, Shanks is getting the attention he deserves. It is clear to fans that he is easily one of the strongest characters in the entire story, with a Haki that is monstrously powerful.
Shanks does not grow Devil Fruit, and as such, much of his power comes from Haki. When it comes to overall hockey manipulation, it goes without saying that Shanks is one of the strongest in the world. a pieceWith no one capable of rivaling him. During the Elbaf arc, however, Oda officially introduces another character with Haki, the red-haired Shanks' rival. The character is none other than Shanks' own twin brother, Shamrock Figarland, and evidence shows that he's even stronger than the red-haired emperor overall, thanks to the power of the emu.
One Piece: All the Power and Ability of Advanced Conqueror Hockey, Explained
Advanced Conqueror's Haki is the strongest power wielded by top-tier fighters in one piece and grants wielders great power.
Shanks is currently one of One Piece's strongest Haki users
When it comes to hockey manipulation, it goes without saying that Shanks is easily one of the strongest in the One Piece world. He doesn't have any Devil Fruit abilities but stands on top of the world in one piece. Shanks has great control over Haki and can use advanced forms of all three Haki types, but his greatest strength is his use of Conqueror's Haki.
As always, his Haki power is overwhelming. – Whitebeard in Senks' Hawkeye, A Fragment Chapter 434
Shanks has accomplished more feats than any other character in the world with Conqueror's Hockey. He can use Conqueror's Haki from miles away and completely paralyze someone as strong as an Admiral. More than that, Shanks can make Conqueror's Haki shockwaves so strong that he can take out pirates with a single swing of his blade for a bounty of over 3 billion. Furthermore, Shanks can use his Conqueror's Haki to kill his enemies' Observation Haki, and this is what makes him truly special. In the world of One Piece, there is hardly anyone as skilled at hockey as Shanks. In fact, in the Egghead arc, Oda directly compares Shanks' Haki to Joy Boy, showing how dangerous he is when it comes to Haki manipulation.
One Piece's Elbaf arc confirms that Shanks and Shamrock have similar abilities
Interestingly, in an Elbaf flashback that fans recently had, Oda confirmed that Shamrock Figerland is just as skilled and talented as Shanks. Both Shamrock and Shanks were born together and are linked by fate. Shamrock was raised by Celestial Dragons, Shanks Roger was raised by pirates. That said, they were both born with an equal amount of talent and skill, and this was confirmed by Garling Figarland in Marizoa's Sacred Land in the Elbaf flashback. It was said that if Shanks gained the power of the Shallow Sea Pact from Emu, he would be able to match with Shamrock, as they both have the same level of skill. In essence, Oda was trying to portray Shamrock as a step above Shanks at the time.
He has passed through the gauntlet of the lower world. But if he were to enter the Depths Covenant, he would be an instant promotion, possibly to Shamrock's level. – Garling, A Fragment Chapter 1168
When Shamrock and Shanks interacted, it was also clear that they held equal positions in terms of power. Added to this is the fact that the Five Elders deeply respect Shamrock Figurelan, going so far as to speak to him with great respect, which may be due to his incredible skill.
One Piece: Powers and Abilities of Shamrock Figarland, Explained
Shamrock Figarland, Shanks' twin, has powerful abilities and powers.
It should also be noted that in the Elbaf arc, Shamrock was clearly depicted as being stronger than Loki, and his single attack put the legendary giant on death's doorstep. What's more, when Loki was asked to join the Holy Knights, it was to act on the orders of Shamrock Figureland.
-
When Shamrock confronts Loki, he openly proclaims that if Loki is to survive his attacks, he must fight against him, implying a much higher level of power. Considering that Shanks has only ever beaten Luffy, this was clearly an attempt by Oda to once again equalize Shamrock with him.
-
Shamrock has great strength, and given that he does not have a Devil Fruit but instead relies on his sword Cerberus, the vast majority of his own power comes from Haki, similar to Shanks's.
Shamrock Figarland should be a top-tier hockey manipulator and potentially stronger than Shanks
Shamrock and Shanks are said to be of equal skill, meaning they must be equally skilled in the use of hockey. In fact, it wouldn't be surprising to see Shanks use a devil fruit sword like Shamrock. It should be noted that Shanks' sword is called Griffon, while Shamrock's sword is called Cerberus. One sword could have the power of a Gryphon and the other could have the power of a Cerberus, meaning they would both have the same skill set. The only difference is that Shanks is a pirate, while Shamrock fights for the government.
In any case, it is clearly stated in the story that Shanks and Shamrock are comparable in overall strength, which means that Shamrock's hockey must be on Shanks' level. Above all, the fact that Shamrock is someone with higher-level hockey manipulation skills than Shanks confirms that he has the ability to completely erase his presence. According to the 4 billion volume a piece, this is an advanced winner's hockey skill called Observation Killing, and besides Shamrock, only Shanks can do it in one piece.
So, given the fact that Shamrock is just as skilled as Shanks, but on top of that, Emu has a deep sea pact, giving him even more superhuman strength, regeneration, and immortality, making a very strong case for Shamrock being even stronger than Shanks. Shamrock has everything Shanks has, but the reverse isn't necessarily true. As hard as it may be to believe, Shanks may actually be the inferior of the two, and that is something that Oda will surely show in the final saga as the story progresses. The clash between these two brothers might happen in the final saga, and fans can't wait for it.
