The true ending of Resident Evil Requiem brings everything back to Raccoon City
Resident Evil requestsThe endgame brings Leon and Grace to a devastated and desolate raccoon town. Zeno, the leader of The Connection, and former researcher Dr. Chhata. Victor Gideon, both convinced that Oswell E. Grace is the key to taking out Elpis, the mysterious project Spencer is working on. Xeno and Gideon believe that Alpis is a virus that makes mind control possible, but it is locked away in a high-tech vault deep beneath the Raccoon City ruins called the ARK. Leon is abducted by giant spiders, mutated plant life, and even Mr. X, Xeno, and Gideon to bring Grace to the ARK. Elpis can only be released through an unknown password, and the two villains think Grace knows what it is.

Grace discovers his true nature and Leon begins to succumb to his illness
Earlier in the story, Resident Evil requests Grace Ashcroft appears to be the product of umbrella use rather than Alyssa Ashcroft's biological daughter. This turns out to be half true. While briefly freed from Geno, Grace is able to watch an old video her mother left behind before she was murdered. The video confirms that Alyssa is not Grace's real mother, but it also disproves Xeno and Gideon's theory that Grace is the key to a new bioweapon. Grace is an orphan taken in by Spencer, and Alyssa eventually becomes her guardian after a sit-down interview with Spencer. In Alyssa's interview, Spencer says that he regrets everything he did with his research and that Grace is his “hope”. Meanwhile, Leon is really struggling to stay alive. His Raccoon City Syndrome has reached the late stages, and it looks like everyone's favorite roundhouse-kicker is doomed.
in Resident Evil requestsIt is revealed that Spencer is being used as a scapegoat by The Connection and the US government. Although the game shows Spencer in a redeeming light, it doesn't erase the atrocities he committed.
Grace is the key to Elpis, but not in the way that Zeno and Gideon expect
Grace meets up with the newly alive Leon and the two return to the Alpis vault to confront Zeno. Grace has a plan, and Leon trusts her completely. “Hope” is also something Alyssa says to Grace before she murders her at the Rainwood Hotel, leading Grace to realize that “Hope” is the password to unlock Elpis. The password gives players the option to destroy or leave Elpis. If players choose to release Elpis, this kicks off the true ending. To Spencer's chagrin, Grace concludes that Alpis isn't actually a bioweapon. It is an antidote that renders all bioweapons obsolete. Geno doesn't realize he's been tricked, and enthusiastically injects a vial into his body. His strength soon fades as Gideon reminds him that the two only theorized rather than know for sure what Elpis could be. A power-hungry Gideon suddenly mutates Zeno with his arm and decapitates him.
Leon and Victor Gideon have one final showdown
Leon is practically at death's door at this point, but Grace quickly injects him with Elpis, saving his life. This leads to a two-stage boss fight against Gideon as he transforms into a giant monster that has become a staple for the end game. Resident Evil Boss fights. Leon defeats Gideon and finds Grace nearby. With the destruction all around, there seems to be no way out, leading Grace and Leon to accept that this is the end of their road. Leon promises to stay by Grace's side until they both die.
Resident Evil Requiem is ultimately a story about hope
Thank you, Leon and Grace Live. Chris Redfield's Hound Wolf Squad arrives to save the two. Unfortunately, Chris Redfield isn't in Resident Evil requestsBut the finale seems to tease a potential team-up between him and Leon. Leon is cured, a vial is secured to cure Sherry as well, and the discovery of the ARK lab becomes international news.
Leon and Grace get a happy ending after going to hell
Both Leon and Grace struggle with their personal guilt throughout Resident Evil requeststhe story of However, both deliver in different ways. Leon now leaves Raccoon City with memories of victory rather than regret, providing some much-needed inner healing. Grace returns to her job at the FBI and is able to adopt a little girl, the now recovered Emily, from the Rhodes Chronic Care facility. It's an emotional full-circle moment that now puts her in Alyssa's shoes.
Bad ending: The ARK begins to self-destruct after entering the wrong password, but Grace is able to escape. However, Leon has yet to fight Geno. The latter easily overpowers the sick Leon and shoots him in the head, killing him. The ARK platform shatters, and the two fall into a chasm.
That happiness doesn't last long, though
A brief ending cutscene shows a group of mysterious armored soldiers searching the ARK ruins. Their identities are unknown, but one says they are working to achieve a “goal” before the “wolves” first appear. This likely means that ARK holds more secrets than just Elpis. “Wolf” refers to Chris Redfield's Hound Wolf Squad. There's no way to know for sure at this point, but this scene sure sounds like another Resident Evil The game may be setting up a Chris Redfield-led storyline that potentially features Leon as a partner.
