Pokemon Pokopia The first Switch 2 exclusive title in the series has been a resounding success, and has also become one of the best rated. Pokemon Games never process. Pokemon PokopiaThe Metacritic scores and reviews are a testament to the quality of the rest Animal Crossing-like the game, and it's no wonder fans love it so much that it has everything Pokemon Staples with a whole new formula. It is also interesting to note Pokemon Pokopia There have been secret teasers for the Gen 10 games as well as extensive lore implications, but one detail may have flown under the radar: more proof that a new Pokemon type is coming.
While Pokemon PokopiaWhile the habitat and abilities of Ditto may depend on each Pokémon's own types, the gameplay is nothing like the mainline series. Types do matter, but they are far from being one of the focal points of the entire experience. Likewise, it makes sense to introduce new Pokemon variants to Pokopia that look like existing critters, but with new tech, such as Moslax, Pikichu, or the new Stereo Rotome. In particular, the stereo rotam is an interesting case because it is an electric/normal type, but it may just be a placeholder for a new type. Pokemon wind and waves.
Pokemon Pokopia Hides Secret Teaser for Pokemon Winds and Waves
Game Freak's newest Pokemon spin-off arrives with a sneaky teaser that calls out the debut trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Winds and Waves.
Pokemon Pokopia's stereo rotam confirms sound types in wind and waves
Speculation about a new type Pokemon The games have been going on for years, and the most likely candidate is considered sound. This is due to a few reasons:
-
There are dozens of sound-based moves Pokemon Already games, such as Bug Buzz, Sing, or Boomburst
-
Sound-related abilities exist, such as Soundproof or Punk Rock, to reduce the damage taken by sound-based moves or increase the damage they deal when used.
-
Many Pokemon already fit the Sound-type concept perfectly, such as Meloetta, Explode, and Chatot. It is interesting to note that many of these are common-type

With this in mind, it's easy to see why Pokopia's new Rotom form, called DJ Rotom, would fit the bill. The color of the Stereo Rotom doesn't match its usual type, like other Rotom devices, which have matching colors and types, but it also makes perfect sense as a Boomburst user. Boomburst is one of the best sound-based moves in the series, and an Electric/Normal Rotom with STAB Boomburst can do some real damage, especially if it's got a matching ability like Punk Rock.
Why Stereo Rotom is further evidence of sound quality in Gen 10 games
More importantly, it begs the question, if not for progressive and future changes, adding a generic stereo rotam form but with a teal glow instead of gray to match its true type combination. It would be a great addition to Gen 10 games, and it would also fit because the games are called Pokemon wind and wavesTraveling through the air as sound waves. Although a bit cheesy, perhaps, the type sounds Pokemon Gen 10 will have everything to do with wind and waves.
Given the success of Peakychu Pokemon PokopiaAlong with other forms like Mosslax and Professor Tangrowth, it only makes sense for Gen 10 games to feature at some point, even if not at launch. But if it does, adding stereo rotom as a usable form will at least build a sound-type foundation for the future. If instead those foundations are already there, which seems plausible considering all the sound-related elements of the series, the stereo rotam may be an indirect confirmation that the new type Pokemon wind and waves Not only possible, but almost guaranteed. After all, it's been over 10 years since the launch of Gen 6, when Fairy was first added to the series as the 18th type, and would be a great addition to further celebrate 30 years of Sonic. Pokemon With Gen 10.
