Baldur's Gate 3 Mod will make all your friends hate you from the start

Most of us put a lot of effort into gaining the approval of our Baldur's Gate 3 friends. Do something bad, Karlach and Gale will disapprove. Do something good, Astarion and Minthara will refuse. There is no such thing as pleasing everyone. However, if you're tired of the same old dude dialogues, a fan has modified you to hate everyone from the start.

Redditor Pinch12 wrote a script to drop everyone's approval below -50. This means they will hate you as soon as they meet you. There is nothing to satisfy them or build trust when you are at that level; Some friends will leave as soon as they meet you, while others will stick around and constantly insult you.

Hate of Baldur 3

Astarian, topless from the neck up, looks worried.

“It's an absolute nightmare and every one of your friends trash talks you throughout the game,” said the producer. “Shadowheart has been particularly brutal with absolute ROASTS in dialogue segments that are usually pretty standard for most of your friends regardless of approval. Wyll is coming to camp to talk to me and then leaving again. It's absolute hell and I can't recommend it more.”

Honestly, this seems like a fun way to freshen things up if you're looking to start the next playthrough. Role-playing as the most hated person on the Sword Coast can be entertaining, especially if your friends beat you every step of the way. It seems that there are some really brutal dialogues when their acceptance is low.

It's not like Lae'zel had many kind words, this mode kicks her rudeness into overdrive. Shadowheart may not have nice things to say, but I doubt that will stop many of you from romancing her. In fact, some may even find her more attractive.

The part where Wyll makes a flashy entrance, dispatches some goblins, and tells Tav to get the hell out of his face is especially hilarious. Who knows? By the time you kill the Netherbrain and become the hero Baldur's Gate, they may even start tolerating you.
