Anyone who has even met Clemont knows how much he loves science and technology. In fact, his animated counterpart is known to say “the future is now, thanks to science” whenever he demonstrates a new invention. Unfortunately, as amazing as his other inventions are, others have a tendency to short-circuit. Regardless, Clemont never gives up on his inventor dreams, nor his role as Electric-type gym leader even when Lumiose is away from town.
