A common complaint of many ARC Raiders After players put enough hours into the game there is very little content. This, of course, is not a problem for the casual ARC Raiders Players who only put in a few hours here and there, but who have logged hundreds of hours in-game since its launch in October 2025, are starting to get tired. Embark has tried to keep things fresh with a steady stream of new content updates, but the studio has now admitted that it needs to do more for those in the end game.
Despite starting smack bang in the middle of new battlefield and Call of Duty titles, ARC Raiders 2025 turned out to be one of the most unexpected success stories. Embark's second shooter won Best Multiplayer at the 2025 Game Awards, received rave reviews from both players and critics, and became one of the most played games on Steam, peaking at over 481,000 concurrent players. However ARC Raiders' While daily player counts have remained steady since launch, the last few weeks have seen a very significant drop-off, and this is expected to be due to a lack of endgame content.

Embark Studios has announced it has parted ways with co-founder and former CCO Robert Runeson following an investigation into sexual misconduct claims.
ARC Raiders Devs aware players want more end game content
In early 2026, two months after its release, ARC Raiders Still manages to average between 350,000 and 400,000 concurrent players every day on Steam. However, the last few weeks have seen that number drop to just 150,000. While still widely influential, beating the favourites Marathon, Battlefield 6and Black Ops 7This is a significant decline. There will be many reasons for this, but one of the most prominent will be the lack of end game content, something some fans have been complaining about for months.
Embark has laid out its plans for the future ARC Raiders Several times, but not once has the studio discussed any form of endgame content…until now. In a new interview with GamesRadar+, product director Caio Braga discussed the current issues ARC RaidersIt's about balancing how the team strives to be on top. Braga then talks about the difficulty of the game, saying, “That's one of the things we want to keep working on. We want to challenge players. Especially players who are at the end of our stuff.” He explains that Embark wants “more” for those players. “I want them to have more to do, and because they're at the end of it, it's also important that we challenge them as much as possible. That's something we want to continue, but always give players the tools so other players can join in on the fun,” Dev said.

It's unclear how Embark plans to squeeze more endgame content into its current plans, or if it's something the team is already working on. But with the current 2026 roadmap ARC Raiders Stretching only through April, the studio is gearing up to reveal a second roadmap for the rest of the year. Many fans have thrown around the idea of A Fate 2-esque for the raid system ARC RaidersWhich will be the most challenging and rewarding aspect of the game, with puzzles, boss fights, and plenty of teamwork.
Unfortunately, if Embark doesn't already have such a feature in the works, it may be a long time before players get to experience any kind of end game content. The good news, however, is that the studio has been releasing major content updates every month, and the next patch is just days away.
ARC Raiders' A major Flashpoint update is set to launch on March 31st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, bringing new map conditions, ARC hazards, player projects, and more to the game. Embark recently teased fans with a short trailer, all but confirming that the game's deadliest ARC, the Shredder, is leaving the confines of Stella Montis. The enemy was added to the game shortly after launch, but is only available on one map. Now it looks like the game's Flashpoint update is adding Shredder to the Blue Gate, making PvE encounters on the map even more challenging.
