In the magic-dominated world of WistoriaWill Serfort is often referred to as “no-talent” due to his inability to perform magic. Unlike his childhood friend Elfie, a magical genius who became the youngest Magia Vander in history, Will doesn't have the skills for it. This is not to say that Will is weak, as the young lad excels at anything related to swords and physical abilities, making him an anomaly in the series.

The first season of Wistoria Will Serfort's ultimate goal has already been established and that is to get to Alfie and fulfill his promise to him no matter what. He wants to watch sunrises and sunsets with Elfie, fight by her side as her personal knight, and be with her forever through sickness and in health, like they were always young. That goal, however, is still far from complete, as Will must diligently prove himself.

By the end of the first season, Will Serfort had made significant progress. The entire school now treats him well, including the most promising students, from Sione and Julius to Liana and Wignall. After an all-student praxis mishap, Will needs to pass his graduation exam with flying colors to get one step closer to his ultimate dream. But is it possible for a non-magic user to accomplish this?

As a refresher, Magia Vanders are the most talented magic users in Wistoria, and Elfie is one of them. They also exist to maintain peace in the fantasy world, ensuring that the barrier or false sky remains intact. Will Serfort also wants to become a Magia Vander, but his inability to use magic makes it almost impossible to fulfill such an ambitious dream. Even his professor, Edward, doubts his abilities, that is, until Will proves himself worthy of a place at the academy with his physical prowess.

It's almost as if Will Serfort is Wistoria's “Toji Fushiguro” or “Maki Genin”, as the young man is physically gifted but incapable of using magic. When it comes to battles that wizards can't win with their wands, Will comes forward with his sword, cutting down monsters and other enemies with raw power and precision that magic alone can't handle.

Recently, Will Serfort meets Finn, a young man who has been with the King of Mazia Wanders. Apparently, Finn is interested in Will Serfort, especially after witnessing his latest incredible display of strength against the Grand Duke. After all, for the first time, someone like Will combined the power of magic and the sword, creating a fighting style that defied the rules of the world.
