Fortnite The first major update of the season, patch v40.10, has revealed when the downtime will begin. Chait 19th, Fortnite Players bid farewell to Chapter 7 Season 1 and welcome Chapter 7 Season 2. This season is titled Fortnite Showdown, as it focuses on the battle between the Foundation and the Ice King. Each player had to choose which side they would be on for the rest of the season when they first logged in Fortnite Chapter 7 in Season 2. In battle royale games, players are assigned opponents from the opposing team and tasked with eliminating them to earn points for their team.
The start of a season is always exciting, as players get to explore new mechanics and weapons, meet all the non-playable characters scattered around the map, and uncover a brand new story. However, players aren't immediately introduced to all seasonal content at first, keeping them interested for three months after it goes live. Chapter 7 Season 2 has been live for almost two weeks, and players are ready for more content. Players have completed several in-game rivalries and completed almost all Act 1 milestones and become familiar with the new Chapter 7 Season 2 mechanics. So, it's time for Epic Games to release another content patch.
