Among the members of the Kara organization, Delta is the one who gets easily irritated when things don't go according to plan. So, when Kashin Koji left him outside of Konoha to watch over Kawaki and Boruto, it wasn't long before Delta pushed into Konoha to not only protect Kawaki but also attack the one and only Naruto Uzumaki.

As Delta began to fight Naruto, Boruto could only watch as his father protected him, Himawari, and Kawaki. When Boruto intervened in the match, he made things worse, because it meant inviting Delta to focus their attention on them, especially Himawari.

Not long after, Delta attacks Himawari, firing a deadly laser beam from her eye, resulting in Naruto jumping in to save his daughter. If it wasn't for Kawaki's quick reflexes and critical thinking, Naruto and Himawari could have been seriously injured.

In contrast, Boruto needs encouragement from Sasuke and Naruto before he can summon the courage to open up on his own.

He was so strong that Naruto had to intervene before he could execute Boruto and Momoshiki at the same time. As fans know though, Kawaki manages to stab Boruto in the chest, effectively killing him.
