The best PlayStation 3 classics that are still right

Like the PS2, I had to wait to buy the PS3 because it was too expensive at launch. As a kid just going to college, and because there weren't any good games for a few years, it made sense to wait to buy a PS3. In 2008, a good deal made the PS3 more affordable for me, and I got it just in time. Grand Theft Auto 4 and to prepare Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots soon after.

8 Almost Perfect PS3 Games That Deserve a Remaster

From exclusives to third-party, these near-perfect PlayStation 3 games deserve better—mainly, a shiny remaster.

I have a lot of good memories with the PS3, and the one bad thing about the console is that it still has a lot of games stuck on it. Some have received remasters or remakes dead space and Demon spiritsWhile other PlayStation fans are impossible to play, not counting the poor streaming versions. Well, while my console was still running, I checked out some of my favorite games on the system, viz Notorious 2 and Specific Ops: LineAnd they catch up with the others on the list.

Dead Space 2

Hide your eyes

Dead Space 2 In 2011 the horror is still the same, although the graphics have improved significantly in gaming. From the opening scene, people are afraid of being torn apart by eye-rolling jump scares.

Shooting Necromorphs on destroyed ships or in the void of space still feels great thanks to the upgradeable weapons. Dead Space 2 One of those scary examples that is so good, it can be played every year and still be awesome, and my playtime is proof of that.

Notorious 2

To the shock of Bau

Notorious 2Its standalone DLC, and the original game all deserve a remaster on PS5, but if there's one game that needs to be played above all others, it's this one. Notorious 2. It was the perfect game to start the summer in 2011, having just graduated from college and looking for something to take my mind off schoolwork.

The bayou area created in the new Marais was a more interesting area to explore than the typical city setting of the original, and every mechanic was improved. Cole's electrical powers were very varied, the climate felt good, and the traversal was a breeze. Notorious 2and others infamous The games, honestly, can stand up to modern superhero games Marvel's Spider-Man.

rock band

Jam time

rock band Including getting all the equipment, proper stands, and DLC music was one of the most expensive games I've ever invested in. Because it was all worth it rock band Equipment was a great party game for years, even though it was difficult to store.

Years later, after a bit of dusting, the tools still worked, and the gameplay was as smooth as ever. The drum, guitar, and microphone options, along with the lyrics, brought me back to my favorite gaming moments with friends, as music is a powerful memory tool.

A new generation of platforming

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction was the first Ratchet and clank Game on new hardware, and it did not disappoint. Aside from the first sequel, which added RPG elements, every game that followed was the same, but that wasn't a bad thing.

The 10 Best PlayStation Games of All Time

There's a PlayStation kid in all of us with these absolutely flawless titles. PS Let's wander down the hall of fame.

Fans could always count on fun guns to try out, inventive planets to explore, possibly tighter controls, and an overall polish that would make grandma cry with pride. But, however Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction Not as fun in 2007, I still find easy platformers to sit back and relax as a day goes by.

Only reason 2

Crossing the wires

Only reason 2 was fun because of the freedom it gave players to wreak havoc on the island nation of Panau. Silos exploded with thunderous booms, enemies dropped like flies from well-trained bullets, and best of all, the grappling hook was incredibly versatile.

Players can use it to reach new heights, slingshot themselves across the map using a parachute combo, or they can attach themselves to cars and hijack them. The grappling hook continues to be used, but on a larger scale, few games give players as much pure joy. Only reason 2 A decade later, and I was grinning from ear to ear.

LittleBigPlanet 2

Co-op fun for everyone

LittleBigPlanet 2 A good 2D platformer with co-op for anyone looking to have fun with three other people on the couch. Although all players must be Sackboys, they can customize their characters with an amazing roster of costumes to make each one stand out.

I bought some DLC back in the height, so my characters can dress up like that final fantasy and Metal Gear Solid characters. With costumes in place, and even without the creative tools to create levels and post them online, the developer, Media Molecule, was whimsical enough to fill. LittleBigPlanet 2 Inventive ideas themselves, including worlds made up of sweet treats and racing mini-games.

DuckTales: Remastered

Nostalgia glasses

DuckTales: RemasteredDespite the name, 1989 is a complete remake of the original NES game. The levels have been slightly changed, there are also some new levels, the controls have been updated, and most importantly, voice acting and cutscenes have been added.

The original cast was still alive when the game was made, including Scrooge McDuck himself, Alan Young, who was 94 at the time of the remake's debut. The basic backgrounds are nothing special, but the hand-drawn characters still look impressive on PS3, and it takes me back to my youth watching cartoons.

Das: Odyssey to the West

A mysterious adventure

Das: An Odyssey to the West is a fun action-adventure game about two heroes, Trip and Monkey, on a treasure-hunting adventure. As they explore the lost ruins of civilization, from strolling along waterfronts to climbing dilapidated skyscrapers, the pair will be attacked by robot pursuers.

10 “bad” PS3 games that are much better than you remember

Don't let your memory fool you; These PlayStation 3 games were much better experiences than many give them credit for.

It was an underrated game at the time, and it has now become a hidden gem, never having been remastered. There are good post-apocalyptic games out there now, e.g Horizon zero dawnBut for a short romp, Das: An Odyssey to the West Still hit the spot.

Eternal Sonata

A sad RPG

Eternal Sonata Started as an Xbox 360 exclusive before coming to the PS3. It is one of the unique RPGs on the system, as it stars real-life composer Frederic Chopin in a dream world as he dies in reality.

The world is filled with characters and monsters named after musical themes, and the gameplay is a hybrid between action and turn-based. Thanks to the cel-shaded visual style, it holds up visually better than most PS3 games, and while disappointing, the story has some interesting ideas that remind me of my own mortality.

Specific Ops: Line

A dark twist of fate

Specific Ops: Line It's a darker game Eternal Sonata, About a group of soldiers who go to Dubai after a great struggle. Their allies have died along with innocent civilians, but they risk their lives by going into hostile territory to prevent this from happening again.

On the surface, it's a pretty standard squad-based cover shooter for the franchise that I don't care for. However, that intrigued me, and at the time there were other, story twists, which no one could have seen coming.
