Crimson Desert Combat has a very low skill floor, meaning most players can get away with just mashing buttons and spamming healing items to win most of their fights. Conversely, it also has a very high skill ceiling, allowing a ton of skill expression for players who want to pull off stylish combos. There are a lot of combat-related things Crimson Desert That doesn't tell players, however, and if you want to start stringing together cooler combos, here's a guide explaining some important mechanics you might not know.
How long to beat the Crimson Desert
If you're ambitious enough to get 100% completion, not just the main story, you can find out how much time you'll spend in Crimson Desert.
This guide focuses on Cliff and his sword and shield movesAnd it's assumed that players already have significant combat skills unlocked and maxed out. Much of this will apply to other weapon types and characters as well, but expect there to be differences.
Combo starters, extenders, and finishers
For those of you who want some tricks to use, here's a quick rundown of attacks and sample combo chains you can use. Start and knock down enemies, close gaps, and finish combos. Almost all of these attacks flow into each other easily, while others require perfect timing.

The general idea is to take at least one of these attack types, then combine them into a coherent combo string.. Not all of these moves can be split into different ones (for example a heavy attack on an unarmed attack), so we recommend using them with a training dummy. Crimson Desert See what works.

When fighting a group of enemies, Lariat and Vault are your best options. The former deals damage in the area around you, knocking enemies back while giving you more breathing room. Meanwhile, the latter lets you reposition and deal with shield users more easily.
While fighting nobles and lords, Use the stab and ball palm to create short openings. These moves stun bosses for a short window of time, letting you pile on some extra damage with heavy attacks or turning slashes. Incredibly human-sized bosses (some small or large ones included) also make them vulnerable to grapple moves.
Launcher combos are meant to separate targetsie elite or high priority enemies such as those using Flamespitters. Use these to disperse large crowds while simultaneously taking out the most important targets on the battlefield.
Why bother with combos?

You can get rid of large groups of mobs very quickly while taking less damage.

You will completely neutralize dangerous elite enemies like Demnisian Knights and Black Bear Berskers.

You will maximize damage dealt against bosses during limited stun/stagger windows.

They are much more fun to do than just holding down the light and heavy attack buttons.
the knife
This trick is your bread and butter. It's good as a filler move as well as a gap closer. Many beginners avoid Stab because it takes a while to charge up, but What new players may not know is that Stab charges instantly when used after certain attacks. Getting the timing on it can be a little tricky, though, and if you're having trouble pulling it off, Press and Hold your stab button input the moment your first hit connects.
If you are having trouble using Quick Tab after charging, Hold down your light attack button and charge towards your enemy the moment a charged stab hits.

Quickstep
Quickstepping refers to the short dash your character performs after you press the dodge button twice.. Not only does it let you close gaps without the long recovery time of normal dodge rolls, but it also allows you to Quickly chain in a charged stab or quickstep light attack follow-up. That being said, Quickstep is worth following in Launchers.
Quickstep Light Attack is especially good for chasing down enemies you've launched. Easier to use than Stab.
Light and unarmed assaults
None of these attack types consume stamina, but in return, they won't do as much damage as attacks. Nevertheless, they are worth learning for the following reasons:

The last hit of your light attack combo knocks enemies back slightly.

The fourth hit of your unarmed combo knocks back enemies.

The final hit of an unarmed combo launches enemies, resulting in a hard knockdown when they land.
more importantly, You can freely transition between light attacks and unarmed attacksAnd doing so will not interrupt your current combo string. This means you can use light attacks as a shortcut to quickly get to the last hit of your unarmed combo, and vice versa. Try it by doing the following combos:

Kliff's Sword and Shield Moveset has an unlisted Shield Bash combo, which you can do with the following input: Light Attack → Hold Block → 4x Heavy Attack while holding Block. The last hit will launch your target and result in a hard knockdown when they land.

When you are soloing a small army, It's best to keep your attacks short but explosive. Most fodder enemies will die in a few hits against upgraded weapons, so you're better off focusing on crowd control with AoE attacks. Don't forget to mix in some turning slashes, as the elementally-imbued variants deal a lot of damage.
Battle bosses
Depending on which it will vary a lot Crimson Desert Boss you are fighting. Bosses like Beloth are vulnerable to being hampered by heavy attacks and triple force palm combos, while others like Half-Moon Reaper can get out of combos quickly, forcing players to use shorter attack strings.
For most bosses, using Tab and Turning Slash between Stab and Light and Heavy attacks is great for building up the stun meter. Use these liberally, and after the boss is completely stunned, hit them with more heavy attacks and turning slashes.
